Title: Cooking at home or fast food
Post by: Mizzkizz7 on April 27, 2018, 05:19:04 pm
Lately I've been eating fast food, taco bell, KFC, wendy's, red lobster. which do you do the most? Do you have time to cook a meal? A simple meal?

:rose: :rainbow: :rose: Most of the time I stay at home and fix something simple. Once and awhile I want to eat some place that's not at home. I tend to eat either at home or out, depends what I'm hungry for! :rose: :rainbow: :rose:

We eat at home most of the time.  My husband has been doing a lot of the cooking lately.  Anything from meatloaf to bbq ribs to stir fry with fried rice.  I am looking forward to grilling season and fresh fruits like cantaloupe and watermelon.

Oh man Red Lobster sounds good.  I haven't been there in years.  Taco bell is good too.  I just got watch how much I eat it so I don't get big lol.

Fast food sounds good, but I also enjoy cooking at home as well. I like both.

I usually do a tv dinner at home.  I can't seem to find a decent fast food place that doesn't serve junk food.

Fast food is great when you don't have the time, but I like cooking at home. It's too hard to find fast food taht isn't bad for you.

I hate to cook. I like to eat fast foods and go to restaurants. However, I do cook at home at least 4 to 5 times per week.

I leave the fast food places alone. I fix stuff at home to save money and have leftovers.

We rarely go out to eat, so it is a treat. But we are on the road a lot going back and forth to doctors for family members and an man who  wasn't allowed to drive  with his heart condition. So we hauled him 120 miles one for  5 months and now allowed to drive himself. But now we start all over with my dad. who knows how many trips with this problem that has cropped up.  Then my trips 167 one way. We eat  at various restaurants when we go. I get tired of traveling but it is what it is. Hopefully hubbies specialist will be able to correct the problem with his feet and we want have to travel for that one. But the specialist is only here every other Monday. So we will see. All I can say is these golden years are tiring.

I mostly cook at home. Sometimes I do get tired of cooking and I make go to a casual restaurant like apple B's, olive garden or red lobster. I can't stand fast food like burger king and mcdonald's. I rather eat a bowl of cereal.

we always cook at home but now and then it is really nice to get a "treat" and then we order a pizza or go for taco bell, in&out, mc donalds... depending on what we feel like having...
I love to eat as healthy as possible... but some "junk" food now and then makes me happy!!!

We have a balance of both at home, mostly because my son has lots of sports activities in the evening and don't have enough time to make food all the time.

Mostly we cook at home, but sometimes  when I am pooped I drive through a fast food place.  No mess to clean and it is quick.  Once or twice a month we go to a nicer restaurant.  Red Lobster sounds good.

I must say I'm very blessed to have a hubby who is a fantastic cook! I love to bake so in our house I rather have something  we make together rather than the food you get at a fast food joint! The less processed food the better. We have eaten fast food but it is rare.

I get fast food about once a week.   Since it is just me now I only cook simple stuff like burgers or frozen dinners.

My husband loves to cook so we eat at home nearly every night.  Occasionally we'll get something to go but not very often at all.  I do most of the "big" meal cooking for holidays or other special occasions.  He doesn't enjoy cooking when there's an expected time for it to be done lol.

I actively try to avoid fast food whenever I can for nutritional and economical reasons. However, on those days where I am simply too tired to cook or warm anything, I gravitate to Burger King or McDonalds.
