and how much do you love Canada ?
-
Not really. I am pretty good about performing due diligence before going into a foreign country, even better about following rules, and avoid countries where rules can be subjective or used for political gain (like North Korea). My day time job is global provides daily reports on countries to avoid. If we travel to a country in which troubles arise my company will intervene and extract us at any cost as one of the benefits of working there (unless we had committed a crime). That benefit extends to my family that travels quite a bit more than I do. My daughter was just in Scotland, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, India, and China and I was perfectly comfortable with her travel itinerary as long as she checked in daily and provided me with a rough draft of her plans for the day. Canada is okay but seems to be filling up with too many American ex-patriates.

I don't travel so that wouldn't be something for me to worry about.

I've never been to a foreign country, so... I've never had that concern.

I was in Mexico in the 1990's,took some "historical artifacts" and at the airport was a bit nervous when the soldiers with machine guns were around.

I don't go anywhere, so no. And I'm indifferent aboot Canada.

Taking artifacts ? kinda like the lady munching grapes at the market ?? ooop how did that end up in my back pack ?? I'd not want to be in the jug in Mexico. Been to Canada to dog and horse shows, seemed ok ..

I always worry about that I am an USA beauty :peace:
