Hmmmm Probably that all of our debt has been paid. My husband and I have been following Dave Ramsey's "money makeover" plan since January. Our goal was to have all our debt paid off by November this year. Baby step 2 completed. We've really been "gazelle like" about it and if we keep on the way we have been we may be debt free as early as August. Then we can start saving and planning our honeymoon. That would be the best news to hear right now.
-

If someone would call and offer me an interview from one of the hundreds of applications I've put out looking for work. Or that I won the lottery. That would work too lol

Forget the lottery (although that would be cool too) - I'd just like to hear the news that one or two decade old projects for a client have come through and that I get a resulting payday from it.

I would love to hear that I won a contest. I have been entering contests forever but have never won one. Have you?

Winning the lottery is just about everybody's dream it seems, But rarely happens and I wouldn't depend on it. Right now if we could hear and see it a blessed rain would be great. Everything is so dry that it crunches when we walk on it. Will start running water again this evening to help keep it alive until the day comes that we receive so rain.

Wow! I saw someone knocking the winning the lottery answer. If someone can't be responsible enough for the lottery winnings to improve the rest of their life, then they would greatly benefit from any other answer that could be given here.

Such a tough question. I can think of so many good answers. My reply would have to deal with disease and pain, that it had been obliterated from our planet and that no one had to deal with it ever again.

Honestly sounds negative but the best news I could hear right now would be that my eldest son is moving out of my house. He makes me miserable frankly. I love him and have done a lot for both my sons but I had just as soon live alone. Their dad was hard to live with for 34 years but I stayed with him until he passed. My oldest son has more problems than I can handle at my age.

I would be so happy if I found out that I had won the lottery. I could pay off all my bills and live very comfortably for the rest of my life. I could also help out my daughter.
-
I know that some people who have won big lottery winnings actually didn't end up too well. Too many new "friends" or family that come knocking.
If I were to win a big lottery, I think I would pay off debt, help out my kids, donate some, invest some, save some. I think I would be very practical about my use of the funds and also be "frugal" with it by not just going all out on wild extravagant spending.
-
That our son in law's risk of another heart attack is nil. He is only 37.
-
Oh where do I begin?
Have several things I can list, but they are family-related so I won't.
Slowly, they are happening. So, that is very good news.

That my daughter came back to God because the consequences of that decision are eternal. After that, along with everybody else, a large chunk of money deposited in my account so I could pay off all bills, have money for future medical bills and not have to worry about money again.
