Just when you thought you were 'over' Joey Chestnut's incredible 74-hot-dogs-in-10-minutes feat to win the coveted Mustard Belt on the boardwalk of Nathan's Coney Island location on the 4th of July, it's here!  It's National Hot Dog Day!

I love hot dogs and the toppings on them.Boars head,Ballpark,Sabretts...i love saurkraut and chile and the Sabretts onions and DR them up with hot sauce.

But usually 2 of them satisfy me...lol!

I didn't know this I had chicken tenders for supper had I known it was hot dog day at a fried me some hot dogs up

I had two 7eleven Big Bites smothered in Chile, Cheese, Onions and of course Mustard when they were on sale for $1 on 7/11/18 along with a free Slurpie

My record for hot dogs consumed in one (long) sitting was ten large hot dogs. I almost threw up and had headaches for three days. In honor of the auspicious National Hot Dog day (yesterday) I consumed four large hot dogs and re-idolized Joey Chestnut and his seventy four hot dogs in ten minutes feat. What a rock star. I watched him wolfing them down and he looked near death. Guess that is the price you pay for glory (LOL). This morning's news (from Fox-avoiding bad political news) indicated that eating hot dogs had t dogs/processed meat could be responsible for manic episodes. I do not think that eating ten hot dogs created any manic moods in me. Quite the contrary as I just really felt the need to take a nap amidst several trips to the bathroom.

That is so funny. I didn't even know it was hot dog day yesterday and I had some for dinner.
