You can burn calories, have fun and show off some moves. It's a great way to relieve stress too.

I use to love to dance. As a matter of fact I use to teach line dancing classes. I had to stop because both my knees got so bad I couldn't do it anymore.

I use too. Don't know too many dances anymore but I do try sometimes.

I loved too dance. You put the music on and i could dance to it with anyone. But after a couple of bad car wrecks that almost caused me to not be able to walk i have to fore go the dancing. Any way hubby can't dance worth a darn and doesn't like too

I love to dance. It can be used in many forms: exercise or just dancing because. No reason. Just dance, dance.

Yes, I love to dance. When we were younger my husband and i would go out to a dance hall. Have not done that in a long time. However, it does not keep me from dancing. I have 5 granddaughters who visit often and we dance.

I used to love to dance. In fact, I had dance lessons in ballet, tap, and acrobatics from the age of 5 until I was 13 or 14. It was a great deal of fun. I continued to dance in any situation I could throughout my 20's, 30's, and 40's. I still like to dance sometimes but not as much opportunity as when I was young. However, sometimes I like to turn on some "funky" music here at home and dance around my home. It always raises my spirits!

I used to teach Aerobic Dance classes. It was over 35 years ago....back when there wasn't much talk about low impact or high impact. As the instructor leading the class I always gave 110% ---so my knees took a beating too.
It was great fun though.
I like line dancing. I don't know the routines, but always jump at the chance to get out on the floor when there is someone who knows so then I can follow.
I also like ballroom dancing. Not like they show on the tv shows. More like the old time Lawrence Welk style of waltz, two-step, foxtrot, swing. Our hometown had the Lakewood Ballroom which was hugely popular for years for the dances, anniversaries, wedding receptions, reunions

Yes, I especially like line dancing! It is fun and a nice way to keep the body moving and the brain thinking!!!

I LOVE to dance but am disabled and am doing good to be able to walk. I miss dancing and LOL sometimes I dance in a chair with just moving my arms and the top of my body. Hey lol it is better than nothing.

I like to dance always been with my life partners that did not enjoy it. I would like to take the dance classes to stay up with the modern steps, so I don't embarrass/disappoint lol. I know of couples that goes dancing for exercise, to stay out of trouble, use their time dancing lol but I love to dance.

I love to dance around provided I am completely alone all by myself nobody else around. Love to dance to SOFI TUKKER's Batshit and Uptown Funk.

Love it!!! Took belly dancing, polynesian, country western, disco, line dancing, ballroom dancing. Now, I've just done mainly zumba the past 8 years. Only had a few classes in ballet, but would love to do more of that.

Have bad knees and feet due to all the years of dance classes and dancing but I won't stop.

Considering how little my sense of rhythm is, I kinda like dancing. I don't love it by any means, but I kinda enjoy doing it, especially if I am with friends that I feel less like an idiot around.

I don't drink anymore but I used to drink a ton in college. I used to tell my friends that if they saw me dancing that they needed to pull the car around because I was so drunk that I was about to fall over. I don't ever remember dancing but I am told that I did a couple of times.

Well back in the day when I was going clubbing, i loved to dance... not so much anymore, but you are right; you can burn a ton of calories and relieve stress!!!! and you can be silly doing it

Yes. It seems like I lost my rhythm when I turned 30 but a few years later and it seems to be coming back lol :silly:

I agree. I think doing anything physical is a stress reliever but especially something as fun as dancing.

I love to dance but my husband hates it. So glad when there is a family wedding or event so I can dance with my daughter, sisters and nieces. Seems like none of their husbands like to dance else they are drunk. LOL :)

I like to dance when I am home but not so much in public. Dancing is a great exercise and it is fun. When you are having fun, it doesn't feel like you are exercising.

I like to slow dance but never was good at the fast dancing. Since I broke my leg and have rod in it, do not even slow dance now.

I used to help teach ballroom dancing in college.
The instructor was so amazingly graceful on the floor, and easy to follow.
It was fun.
I don't dance any more, except with grand-kids.

I love to dance all the time. I actually take line dancing which is the best thing ever. You can have lots fun and learn how to dance in tune.

When it comes to dancing, I am a rock. I dance like a rock and I don't think I will ever change. I can sing and play guitar though.

I enjoy dancing. Choreographed dance is more my thing just free style. It's fun - not that I'm good but it's certainly a good time. I also like watching dance shows... Even watching people tap dancing amazes me.

I dance around by myself sometimes at home, or with my husband. Used to dance in public but not too excited to do that anymore as I'm not very good.

Different people are different ways. I respect how you look at it and I am glad it works that way for you. For me, dancing would cause stress, so I don't do it.
