If I was at a different point in my life I would have to get a German Shepherd. I have always admired these dogs and been a bit in awe around many of them. Recently, I was at a community event and someone brought a huge male German Shepherd who was so beautiful that I had to go over and talk with the owner. The owner told me that when the dog was about 9-10 months old he almost gave him over to be a police dog but just couldn't go through with it. I could certainly understand why! What breed have you always wanted and admired?

I've had pure breeds that I loved and also had, what we referred to as, Heinz 57 rescue dogs. Loved them equally. Not sure if there is one breed I love more than another, it's the dog.

I don't care which breed, I just want any dog at this point. I miss my furbabies. :(

That's a difficult question to answer because I love lots of dog breeds! Some of my favorites are Shiba Inus, Labrador Retrievers, and Siberian Huskies.

I have mixed breeds and pure breeds and love them all but my favorite was our golden retriever. He was so well behave and great dog to have when the kids were growing up. So protective of them

Growing up I had three dogs. An English setter, chocolate lab and a black lab. They were all wonderful dogs with great personalities. If I had to pick up breed it would be labs. I love their faces., intelligence and loyalty :pumpkin: :rose: :peace: :wave:

There is only one for me Shar-pei what's not to love about this dog. She comes with peanut butter ... for my toast !

have had a few..mostly pits and bull dogs..all sweet as can be...have cats now..lol

I’ve had lots of dogs in my life. Some were purebreds some were mutts, as I got older my very favorite breeds are rescue dogs. The dogs no one wanted who were in shelters.

The breeds i like is jack Russel and Rottweiler

Our two dogs that the hubby and I have had have both been rescues.
The first was a full bred female German Shepherd and our current dog is a German Shepherd mix but he looks just like a shepherd even though he is little smaller.
I would have to say that after owning these 2 dogs my favorite breed is a German Shepherd. They are such loyal, protective, loving dog. It's also amazing how smart they are too.

I like Golden Retrievers and Black Labs.

I'm a real lover of corgis, especially the kind with the very short tails. I also like schnauzers, westies and golden retrievers. But any friendly dog with soft fur that will let me pet them works for me as well.

I like two breeds of dogs the first one is a Chihuahua and the second one is a rare breed called a Besinji. My sister had a bensinji and the dog was a beautiful dog

German Sheperds are beautiful dogs! I honestly love all dogs! I am a huge animal lover! If I had to pick a favorite I guess it would be labs. They are so smart and playful! My baby is a yellow lab mix.

I love labs, but I got a "Porkie" last year and he's a Yorkie/ Pomeranian mix and he's the cutest! Hate that I can't ;potty train him, but he's still pretty awesome.

It is a close tie between the German Shepherd, the Bermese Mountain Dog, and the Siberian Husky for me.

We had a Bichon Frise for 14 years. He was a wonderful dog but very high maintenance. I spent more on his hairdos than I did for mine!

My favorite is Golden Retriever but have had many different breeds in my lifetime and loved them all so sad now that i'm not permitted to have animals where I live

I don't really like dogs, big or small, I got bitten by a dog years ago and i have no need for them.

I have had a springer spaniel, schnauzer mix, various mutts, a black lab, a papillion, a pommeranian, a golden mix, a long haired chihuahua and a cockapoo. Goldens are the best, hands down, for me, but, I do love my little chihuahua too. I did fostering for a golden rescue for a few years and loved it!

I love labs, they are so lovable and great around kids.

I love Tibetan Terriers. They are just beautiful and are so lovable. They are very affectionate to all.

I've always heard people talk great about certain breeds and always believed they just had a specific dog they liked. And I guess I may come across the same way, but the Australian Cattle Dog has changed my mind. Also known as a Blue Healer, these dogs are so amazing to me it's crazy.

not really familiar with breeds....just like dogs in general (especially compared to cats)

I love all dogs and have had many different breeds of them over the years. Right now I have 4 pure breed chihuahu's and I love them all very much. Some of my other favorites would have to be Husky's, because of how beautiful they are. I have never owned one, but I would love to.

I must have breed is a Husky will always go for one.

I love German Shepard's they have some of the most unique personality's ive ever seen in a dog breed

Just one? I'm more of a cat person, but I guess if I had to choose, I'd go with shih tzus because I had so many of them as a little kid.

We just lost our dog that we were quite attached to.She was half beagle and Dach.
But i love ALL dogs!

I love labrador dogs, but I also have a Porkie; a pomeranian/ yorkie mix which is so adorable!!!

My favorite Breed of Dog is a Siberian Huskey. I have one and I love him so much. He is very Beautiful with sky blue eyes.

I am more of a cat person but dogs are a close second ,my favourite breed is border colllies they are so smart,but I love any breed or mixed.
