Title: Do you watch a lot of crime shows?
Post by: Mizzkizz7 on October 13, 2018, 07:21:56 pm: Investigation ID, Snapped, Dateline, Forensic Files, Missing, Diabolical to name a few. I like watching these shows because it makes me more aware of my own surroundings and get knowledge of various criminal cases. Do you have a favorite crime show?

Got to talking with my nail tech and she disclosed that she likes them too. Watching one right now called "Coroner" and I am glued to the telly lol

This channel teaches from The King James Version of the Bible. They teach Chapter by Chapter and Verse by Verse where you can understand everything about the Bible. The Lord led me to this Program because it stopped me in my tracks when I first started watching it. No one has ever taught the way they do. On Dish Network it is channel 256 for anyone interested in watching. Once you watch the first show, you will be amazed at how they teach.

Modern ones for the most part can be too intense for me, they often just show you the most violent thing they can in the first ten seconds just for shock value, and the rest is so fast-paced I can barely follow the investigative aspect. Give me Rockford Files or Murder She Wrote where you could take a 20 minute nap in the middle and still be on track :p

We watch these plus Frist 48...not that we have a choice because there's nothing else on TV. I also like FBI shows, The Rookie, Chicago PD, Blue Bloods BUT hubby doesn't. Yet he gets tired of watching murders day in and day out. None of his reality shows have started their new season yet but they are never for a whole season, 709 episodes and that's ridiculous! >:(

Right now I am trying to finish up shelling pecans, it won't be long before the trees lose their leaves and the pecans start to fall. The thing is it is not our trees but an elderly friends next door. So we do most of the work and she gives us a couple of 5 gallon buckets full plus what ever fall onto our yard and we clean up the ally and the top of her shed. We don't mind helping her. Time goes by fast when we are just out doing our thing and visiting with her.

Dateline is my second favorite. I no longer get Investigation Discovery, otherwise I think I would be watching that channel half the day!

Girl, from your list you and me would get along fine and no arguments over the TV. I watch these kind of true crime shows the majority of the time. Myself and a friend were discussing a homicide that had recently occurred in a county near mine not long ago and she told me it sounded like I could qualify to be a homocide detective. Ha! That may be true!!
