Title: Jimmie Johnson New Sponsor
Post by: alina6 on October 30, 2018, 06:26:28 pm: I was glad to see Jimmie Johnson got a new sponsor in Ally financial although I hate to see Lowe's go - they were a good combination.

No real clue what you are talking about, but my first guess would be NASCAR.

No real clue what you are talking about, but my first guess would be NASCAR.

Me too. NASCAR has really become a very popular event. Glad so many enjoy it.

And without Chad Knaus, who is going to win the 8th championship first Jimmie or Chad?

Post by: betlynjua on November 08, 2018, 05:33:01 pm: I've been so used to the Jimmie and Lowe's combo. This change will take a little getting used to. If I am remembering correctly, Jimmie won 5 championships in a row. Is that right? I think that is correct.

Has any other driver ever been able to accomplish that? I'm pretty sure he's the only one. He is by far one of the best. And of course he drives a bow tie. What could be better than the bow tie?

He would be helicoptered in on a landing pad on campus where there was a company-held party with the opportunity to get in line for an autograph (posters and caps were offered). However, some folks brought in some unusual items for autographing, including a tire discarded at a NASCAR race.
