-
No I don't add noodles. I have had it over rice, never noodles.
-
I usually have chili over rice. :)
-
I love chili either plain or over elbow Marconi with loads of cheese on top and cornbread on the side but I also like it over Rice but my family prefers the pasta ;D
-
No noodles, just hamburger, chili mix, beans, and diced tomatoes.
-
No never heard of that that just sounds like spaghetti. I have had it with rice but not often.
-
Yes, we add elbow macaroni on it so that kids can eat also. We put some corn and and red grape tomatoes.
-
Usually I do not, but I know other people who do and it is yummy.
-

-
Yes, I love noodles in my Chili. I love to top my loaf bread with Chili and make a open faced sandwich with it.
-
No we always ate and still eat ours with crackers. Now my sister-in-law makes cornbread with hers and that is good and we ate at someone's house one day years ago and they served their's with spagetti noodles. Hey it's all good to me.
-
I have never tried it over noodles, just rice.
-
I've never heard of using noodles. Growing up, my mom served it over rice. My husband just makes chili by itself.

I have never had any type of pasta in my chili. I've not ever head of it before this thread. I've added many types of beans when I make chili. Add ons to my bowl of chili have included shredded cheese and sour cream.
-
I make "chili mac"....I throw macaroni in it.
Just finished a big batch of it, and plan to make another. Great tummy warmer in this insane chill in the MidWest.
:rose:

I typically don't add noodles but you know what, that sounds like a great idea! :)
-
No, I hardly eat chilii. I know it's a great winter weather food, though. I certainly will not add noodle to mine.
-
I do not add it directly to the chili but always prepare macaroni and have it on the side to let others add it along with cheddar cheese if they so wish. Some of family likes the macaroni and some do not.
-
I don't add any pasta or noodles, but that does sound good. I like to put it on baked potatoes with cheese and sour cream.
-
I start with and big pot of chili, each night after the first we have it over something else. Rice, Noodles, polentia, cornbread, corn chips and cheese. Then if their is even just a cup left we add a 1/4 block of cream cheese and use it for dips.

:turkey: :snowman: :turkey: Once and awhile I will eat chile with pasta noodles. Chile's good just plain most of the time, if its made right. Chiles a good food to eat when its cold outside. :turkey: :snowman: :turkey:

No noodles in our chili. But the idea of chili over mac-n-cheese sounds fantastic.
-
Chili Mac is great for leftovers
-
I have, once, in the past but, normally, no. Then it's chili mac. :) I like crackers in my chili.
-
I personally don't eat chili with noodles, but many people I know eat chili with noodles on occasion - it's an economical way to stretch out the chili by adding noodles & a nice comfort food :)
I've never heard of adding rice to chili... interesting.
-
i have never had it with noodles but it would make since and sounds like it is an obvious choice
-
I can't recall if I have ever tried that but it sounds good!
-
If its really meaty I would some pasta but if its just low amount I just toss it with some other stuff like a wrap or some fries.
-
I never knew chili without spaghetti noodles until I got married. I was raised in central KY and that is the custom in that area. I now live in NE KY and spaghetti noodles in chili is unheard of. The first time I made it with spaghetti in it, my husband called it spili. My mother still puts the noodles in her chili. I don't when I make it.
-
I like to use elbow macaroni or some other similar style pasta, or just have it plain with crackers. Rice is good, but makes me think of creepy crawlies in my food. :silly:
-
I'm not a big chili person but I don't think I've ever even seen it with noodles. To me rice seems right.
-
No I have never added spaghetti noodles to my chili, but I have added rice to it. I prefer to just eat my chili with cheese. Love the melted cheese.
-
I usually have chili over rice, but I bet it tastes just fine over noodles. I just haven't really considered the before.
-
I've never had chili with noodles or rice but I will have to try that. I usually just make my chili with ground beef, onion, green peppers, garlic cloves, red kidney beans and diced tomatoes. Yum!
-
Sounds good - I usually only add some extra cheese and some sour cream
-
No, I have never added any type of pasta to chili.
-
My Granny said putting spaghetti in the chili began around the depression era. It adds "filler" to the chili and fills you up more.
-
Never heard of anyone putting any type of noodles in chili, just beans some veggies, meats,
-
Never had, but it doesn't hurt to try.
-
no I never have,,, but sounds interesting tho
-
Never had, but wouldn't mine trying something new like chilli noodles.
-
I don't add noodles to my chili. I have it over rice mostly. I have also eaten it with potatoes or with tortilla chips. I usually make it with rice and then the left overs we have with tortilla chip for chili nachos.
-
I do not add noodles. I have never heard of anyone adding noodles to their chili. We usually eat it with crackers or bread and butter.
-
Only when I've ordered from Skyline Chili.

Yes I usually add noodles to my chili soups, it enhances the taste, and makes for a richer meal..
-
No, I don't add anything like noodles or rice to my chili. I just like it loaded with lots of meat, tomatoes, and beans with good seasonings. I like to add cheese and sour cream in my bowl if I have them.
-
No, I prefer to have it with brown rice; never noodles.
-
No just crackers or over rice. I'm having chilli tonight because the temps are dropping and I think something warm would be nice.
-
No,i never do.My husband makes some delicious chili and sometimes we pour over some noodles.
-
I don't care for chili, and definitely wouldn't add noodles to it.
-
Lots of Jalapenos..... :o
-
Nope, I don't add noodles to my chilli. Sometimes we may corn chips, cheese and some diced onion for chilli pie, Or use some pinto beans to the side and put an egg on the tortillas alone with a little Spainish rice. or just use tortillas as spoon and eat out chile. I was born in New Mexico and we eat our chilli differently then those in East. In fact when I lived in Ohio from 1954 to 1959 They did not even know what a chilli was, let alone was it red or green. We had it shipped in every year from New Mexico on the bus. Then we would roast the green and all the neighbors kept coming over to see what smelt so good. Also had the masa and pinto beans shipped in. Otherwise we though we would starve.
-
Sometimes we use rice too but my favorite is squiggly-shaped pasta.
