i think 6 hours is enough
-
I'm a zombie without at least 8. Always have been. I wish it were otherwise.
-
I have trouble getting up if I sleep less than 8. However, I do best sleeping between 2-10AM. If I sleep 8 hours from 12-8 I still have trouble getting up.
-
i believe the recommended time is eight hours.
sometimes i like to push it to twelve, though :dontknow:
is that unhealthy?
-
6-8 or so hours. And I really believe it depends on the person and how mnay they need. Everyone is different of course.
-
I think every one is different on the amount of sleep they need. I used to get like 4-5 hours of sleep each night and kept going like the energizer bunny. Right now if I don't get 6-8 I feel tired all day. I think partly its what you get used to.

I know it is highly recommended that we get 8 hrs. but very few get 5 or 6, and they drink alot of coffee, caffeine, which essentially wears the body out. We actually should get 8-9 hrs a day to be healthy. But since we have to work and always be busy, the only time we will get that 8 or 9 hrs, will be all at once in our grave.

I know that children need at least 8 hours of sleep to allow there bodies to function properly and grow. And as we get older we start to need a little less rest, so it should be roughly around 6 hours for adults. But it is also true that adults can receive at the most 4 hours with of rest and function normally. But as society becomes more spoiled and lazy, it seems as though the average rest for an adult is almost 10 hours. And if you're not working a 12 hour job behind this, you have no reason to sleep 10 hours in a day. There is only 24 hours in a day and to sleep more than 10 hours away is really a waste of life. If we exercise and keep a good diet then our bodies will be more energized in the few hours that you have to rest.

Generally it is recommended that you get as close to 8 hours of sleep as possible. People may think that they can get by on less, but it is not healthy for you. It has been proven that if you do not get enough sleep, you lose concentration and memory, become irritable, have lower productivity during the day and become more susceptible to illness. I know of some people who do not sleep enough or eat right and they are more sickly. There is more to it, I am sure, but it certainly does not help by depriving your body of sleep. There seems to be some new evidence also that claims that you can lower your life expectancy if you are not getting enough sleep. I think that more and more people are getting less sleep these days because they are trying to do too much. It is also not good if you get too much sleep.

i normally get 8- 10 hours f sleep. :dontknow:
-
I think between Six and seven hours
-
On a "good" night I get 6.5 or so. The weekends I don't have my daughter I try to get 10 a night.
I used to get closer to 8 hours, and I don't know if I felt any better. Sleeping 1.5 hours less at least I get more done?
lol

7 OR 8 IF POSSIBLE I know everyone has a busy schedule but you really need to get some rest to be at your best.
-
Untill we are all rested...therefore I should still be sleeping...
-
I also heard that 8 was the max of the best. And also taking a nap in the middle of the day. But if I do that I end up staying up later and sleeping through most of the day.
-
I have to sleep at least 8 or else i feel like i didn't get any at all, but I also dont' sleep correctly, i so need to havce a sleep study done.
-
I usually get 5 - 6 hours. I wish I could sleep longer, but when I wake up, thats it! I almost never set an alarm and I just sleep as long as I can.
-
i think 6 hours is enough
I do not function well unless I have 8 hours.
-
You should generally get 6 - 8 hours of sleep per night. It varies based on the person, but try not to OVERsleep. That will end up making you feel groggy and gross throughout the rest of the day. Also, don't take laps longer than 20 minutes. If you get to REM sleep and then wake up in the middle, you will feel more tired than when you went to sleep.

6-8 hours
-
Sometimes I need 8 to 10 depending on what the days surrounding the sleep include events wise like how many hours of work or shopping or both and how much chasing my toddler are involved.
-
:) At least: six hours, normally eight hours...Take naps when you need them.
-
I'm pretty useless unless I get 8 hours. Anything less and I'm a zombie.
-
6-8 also

I don't sleep. I wait.
