How to you get your money? I don't want a 1099 so how do I prevent that?

You don't. If you make over $600 you will get a 1099 and there is nothing you can do about it. It doesn't matter how you are paid. No matter the form you are still being paid. If you do not want to pay taxes then make sure you earn under $600.
-
PayPal is the easiest for me....
-
I do Paypal on here but there are two sites that only pay by check that I use (unless you want to sign up with some off the wall pay place or direct deposit which I refuse to do...way to much info that I want to give to a survey site)
It doesn't matter how you get paid...go over $600 you get 1099'd.... :bad:
-
I use PayPal
-
I use paypal which works out well cuz some of the sites I shop at will take paypal when you go to check out. Also if I need to transfer money into my bank account from paypal it only takes a few business days.
-
I like the direct deposit. It doesn't matter how you get your money, a 1099 is issued for all amounts over $600.
-
I don't make enough to use a tax form.
-
I do a check, no way not to get the tax form.
-
I do PP.
It transfers quickly to Pay Pal, then transfers quickly to your bank account.
Easy Peasy.

If you make less than $600 you will not get a 1099. It does not matter HOW you are paid. They only send a 1099 if you make over $600 and with the cash out that will put you over they will request the info for the 1099 and hold your funds until you provide it. As long as you stay under the 1099 they will not send you a "tax form" as you are calling it. It doesn't matter HOW you are paid they know how much money goes to each person. And if the IRS audits FC they will see exactly WHO ALL got HOW MUCH.

I use PayPal. Mice to have it there if I need it, which I don't very often. Sometimes I will transfer some to my bank account , although what I have transferred I keep it to the back and only use it if I have to, So far I haven't had to use it. But nice to know I have more in the bank then what shows. Another reason is if someone is looking over my shoulder when I am writing a check the amount they see is not the true amount. Keeps some people honest maybe.
-
Don't you get tax write-offs if you run a business? IF so, wouldn't that cancel it out. Not sure on this anyone?
-
paypal is much quicker than a xhedck
-
I use paypal to get paid. It's the easiest and fastest way for me.
-
I get a check and then I walk into a bank to cash it - makes me feel like I accomplished something by actually touching the money. I do other sites that only use paypal which I am good with.

I would rather not have to get out and go to the bank. I like the money shows up in PP and I transfer it to my bank account and never have to leave home. Heck I do not even have to leave home to spend the money.

Not sure why anyone would choose a check over Paypal. As soon as I get the notification from Paypal, I transfer it to my bank. Nothing to get lost in the mail or forgotten. Don't have to waste time and money going to the bank. The sooner it gets into my savings account, the sooner it starts building interest.

I don't always transfer immediately. I do several sites that pay in to PayPal so I like to wait until I get a little in there or maybe do it once a month. I hope they don't start charging a fee for the transfer.

Only if you have legitimate business expenses, but it wouldn't cancel it out.
-
It's just easier for me to have it sent to Paypal and then transfer the funds to my banking account.

Hello! :D :)
I prefer PayPal as a way to get paid online as it is so convenient. I wish all my online jobs pay me that way as it would be a lot simpler. I consider PayPal as my third bank and I love it. :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:

I used paypal . Love it especially purchasing online. Easy and fast.
-
It doesn't matter how you get paid. It won't avoid a 1099 if you make over $600. I always get Paypal regardless.
-

I am not real sure what you are asking but I very much doubt earning money on a GPT site like FC is qualified as running a business and therefore would not count as a tax credit.
-
I much prefer PayPal to a snail mail paper check. I do get a check from a couple of sites that don't do PayPal. Like others have posted it does not matter how you are paid, if you make $600 or more in a year on any one site, you'll have to fill out a 1099 form. Personally I have never made over $600 a year here or on any other site.
-
I Gadd my fusion cash money by direct deposit. It comes like clockwork and sometimes even earlier than a check. :present: :peace:
-
I do direct deposit.
-
I mainly use checks to pay bills and have not set up a paypal account as of yet.
-
I go for PayPal, when it is an option for purchases I opt for it. It gives a layer of protection on purchases.
-
Paypal Its faster and saves a trip to the bank. It doesn't cost to add money to your account that way either.
-
I prefer a check so I can hold it in my hands before I deposit it in the bank.
-
ask for a check and cash it not in your bank.
-
I asked for direct deposit to my account. Solves so many problems.
-
??? I go by check but, I was thinking of going to debit card?
-
I like to see the check come in the mail and then I put it in a separate account to spend when I go on vacation.
-
I do PayPal. Checks take forever. I got a 1099 once - never again. I think I made $700 and the tax impact basically negated 3 or so months of earnings. As long as you average under 50 a month you won't get one.
-
You will only get a 1099 if you make $600 or more on this site. It doesn't matter whether you use Paypal or get a check. I get a check because I use this as my spending money.
-
I use PayPal but I don't see anyone making over 600 bucks on this site in a year unless they are living on here and even that I don't think it is going too happen. :moneymouth:
-
I don't like checks because it always get lost in the mail I rather get direct deposit is faster and easier
-
I prefer paypal cash out. Its quicker.
-
I've never had to file taxes for PayPal but then again I haven't earned a significantly large amount from any one source either.
-
I get paid by Direct Deposit. It is so much faster than any other way to get paid.
-
i do direct seposit..used to do paypal...but direct deposit is so much nicer..
-
That's true, and now they have instant payout.
I go for PayPal, when it is an option for purchases I opt for it. It gives a layer of protection on purchases.
-
I did checks in the past but seemed to take to long to receive and then got worried that the check was lost so I switched to Paypal. I don't do direct deposit because I don't like giving out my account information
-
Paypal. I don't have to worry about the check getting stolen or lost in the mail, and then I don't have to go through the steps of depositing it.
-
::) I'm still paid by check!
-
I use direct deposit
-
Check 100% !!!!
-
I prefer PayPal. It is more convenient, expedite, and oh so, modern, LOL. I cannot believe some of the survey websites I participate in refuse to use PayPal as a payment method. Ugh.
-
PayPal.
-
I have always used pay pal with no problem. They transfer to my bank account quickly and efficiently.
-
i rather use paypal than a check
-
I use direct deposit. Then I don't have to worry about taking a check to the bank or transferring it from my PayPal account. And as others have probably said you don't get a 1099 sent to you unless you make over $600 in the calendar year. If you make under that amount you don't have to report it.
-

There are fees associated with using PayPal and the payer pays those unless they charge you. I was looking at one thing to sign up with and it said the PP fees would be deducted from the earnings before being deposited. So in other words it costs FC money to use PayPal. Of course it costs to mail out a check as well. I guess that is why some sites charge a processing fee.

You have to report it if the company sends a 1099. Most do not if it is under $600 but some do. I know of 2 that ask for a SS when you sign up and tell you that any earnings will be reported. I passed on both of them.
-
Depends on what's available. I use paypal if I can.
-
I use PayPal. I feel comfortable knowing I don't have to worry that my check might get lost or stolen.
-
I am going to get paid this time via a paper check.
I had been using Direct Deposit which I liked, but, I have had my Fusion Cash Payment Picture Bonus denied. Apparently I block out too much information for Fusion Cash or something when I post a picture of my deposit.
-
I get checks.
-
Are use direct deposit to get my checks it’s always worked for me and it’s always there on the day they say it will be

I would ask them why it was denied. I block out everything (when I remember to do it) but the part that says the payment came from FC and the amount. And maybe the date if that is available.
-
That's true, and now they have instant payout.
I go for PayPal, when it is an option for purchases I opt for it. It gives a layer of protection on purchases.
But they charge you 25 cents. I would rather wait 24 hours and get it without having to pay a fee.
-
I get mines through Paypal since its faster compare to check.
-
I don't think anyone is making over $600 on this site, right??
-
Just make sure you don't earn over $599 at the site. Then you won't get one. It doesn't matter how you get paid, paypal or check. It's the amount that you earn that is relevant.
-
I use PayPal. It's fast and convenient. Once I get the notification that my money is in my PayPal account I then transfer it to my checking account.

I have several times, but not lately. I use PayPal because I have a free PayPal Debit Card that gives me instant access to my money with no extra effort required.
-
Paypal is ok, I just don't like the fee.
-
Paypal for most of my payments.
-
Even though Paypal is getting a bad rap. Do you guys still use Paypal? I was told Payza and STP was a good processor. Now, I am on the side of the fence.

Payza is long gone.

All you need to block is your personal info. But don't block out anything FC.
-
I use PayPal. It is a bit faster than a check and you don't have to fool around with depositing it and waiting for it to clear. Same advantages to direct deposit just a different account
-
I think it would be fun to get a check in the mail, but I've always used PayPal because it keeps me from having to transfer money from my hometown bank to PayPal. I have three subscriptions at PayPal that I pay each month, and my FusionCash money provides enough to cover these expenses.
-
Check. I don't know why. Paypal is easier. I guess I'm just old-fashioned in some ways.

A revolting experience this past few weeks has made me rethink my stand on PayPal. I did a currency exchange from Bitcoin to USD and they sent a dozen or so payments to my PayPal account and when they saw that a few of them filed disputes when they did not get what they paid me for (out of my hands), PayPal shut my account of over 20 years down for good. I have to wait 180 days to have a chance of recovering the $500 balance I have in there, but in the meantime that money is of no use to me.

Dang, that sux... :bad:
3 days ago I got on Paypal and they told me they noticed unusual activity and I had to reset my password ???
I'm constantly transferring money to my bank account from survey sites....hope somekind of problem isn't on the horizon with them.... :turkey:

Unfortunately, 20 years with no problems, built an unfounded level of trust that bit me hard. I should have known better, but I also experienced several times when I need funds in there and had to wait many days to transfer it from my bank. Now I am leaning toward something like Zelle or Google Pay, so my money is safe in my FDIC bank until I need to pay someone.
-
I use PayPal it's so convenient. :) :) :) :)
-
I prefer Paypal. It's quicker and I don't have to bother going to the bank to cash a check.
-
I always get a check because I always have
-
check is always better because of hackers.
-
PayPal all the way! I love it.
-
PayPal all the way! I love it.
So did I for 18 years, until they restricted my account with $500 in it that I could use elsewhere. Now I need to wait 6 months before I can maybe get it back.
-
I do direct deposit check; I know it's coming and I don't have to request the transfer or anything.
-
Paypal is the best and you only get a 1099 if you make over $600
-
I don't think many people on FC will have to worry about getting a 1099 form. I am tired of completing surveys then getting an email stating that they were taking money back.
-
I get my money through paypal. It is more convenient than a check.
-
Paypal and a 1099.
