What do you like to do? Washington DC can be a fun place with all the museums and things (provided the government is not shut down) :)

ONe of the first thoughts that always come to my head when I think of vacations is laying on the beach. I have always wanted to go to the Bahamas, but it depends on what you like to do and your budget. Going to another country sounds great.

If you want going in other countries, Asian is the best, full of history and Architecture are fantastic. You can try many kinds of foods. The best thing is the exchange rate  from $ are the best. If you want a beach vacation try Hilton Head in NC its really good. The view and place alone are so nice.

It really does depend on what you want in a vacation, sit and relax or go and explore.

More important is how much you want to spend.  if possible find a place that is all inclusive. New York can be expensive but transportation once you are in the city is good. Florida hotel accommodations can be found for a little less than NY.  It is all in your budget and preference.

If you love beautiful mountain scenery, go to Utah. Park City has some good attractions.

Retired and broke.  Haven't been able to afford a vacation in years.  Always was a single mom and was hard to save money.

One really spectacular USA vacation would be to go to Alaska. The vistas and wild animals there are just a delight to behold. Another good USA vacation would be to hit up some national parks like Yellowstone or Glacier National Parks.

Hilo, Hawaii is my favorite place to vacation.  I can't wait to go back there.  My husband and I took a 2-week road trip out West last year.  Went from KY to CO to UT to NV to CA to AZ to NM and then back to KY.  We saw so many wonderful sites.

It depends on what you like to do.  For me the best vacation would be a cruise to the Caribbean.  I love a cruise because it is so relaxing.

It all depends on what you want to see and do on your vacation.  Also why do you ask other people for suggestions on where to go on your vacation?   Kind of strange.

It depends on what you are into.  None of those would be an option for me, but that's me.  I went to Biloxi, Ms, Las Vegas, Cancun, and I went on two cruises to the Caribbean this year.  Clearly I like to gamble and I like the beach.  So that's the type of stuff I do.

Check your favorite destination and make sure "the weather is in your favor".
Probably, you do not want to visit a certain State during hurricane season...
for safety reasons, just in case you cannot evacuate on time.

It depends on what you like to do.  I have gone to all 50 states and it's plenty to see and do.  Hawaii is my favorite and I've been there 6 times.  I enjoyed the salmon run and icebergs in Alaska.  Now I like to go on cruises to warm places,  have one planned for June.  I would like to go to Japan and Australia but don't want to fly so I guess those trips are out.  Enjoy whatever you decide to do.

I think it should depend on what you want to get from your vacation, just relax or a lot of sight seeing; also some areas may be pricier then others so also depend on what fits your budget. Good luck deciding.
