Has anyone ordered from walmart dot com and had it SHIPPED TO THEIR HOME? I am not asking about shipping to the store where you still have to get out and go to the store and pick it up.
I have heard mixed reviews. Seems more are negative than positive. I have heard people say they ship each item individually and also heard people say they throw everything together and it is not packed very well. For example if you order detergent it is thrown in with other stuff where it gets tossed around and if the detergent lid comes off or the bottle bursts it ruins the items in the box.
Also do your items tend to come in 2 days as promised?
I have looked at it and noticed items seem to be priced higher than in the stores so you actually ARE paying for the shipping.

I order some of my stuff online [Ex:Detergent,Pre-workout powder,House hold items etc.] and it ships pretty safe to my area with no open lids and such. It just depends on the delivery service and the actual place its being sold from. Note: Not all items are sold by Walmart its like Amazon it provides other sellers as well. As for me 85% of the time it arrives safe to my front door with what I ask for and no damage and with 2 days if it was provided with the stuff I bought. There were a few times were my delivery provider just toss my package from a distance just to save time I did returned the damage item which wasted my time driving and waiting in the return line in Walmart. If it does not arrive within 2 days contact them maybe they will somewhat be generous like Amazon and offer something as an apology. Best of luck if your planning to order!

I was not aware that all the stuff doesn't actually ship from Walmart and that other sellers are on the site. Thank you for that info. I will look at that when I place an order.

A lot of my family has their groceries shipped and they love it. I can't believe it's free.
One warning: my mom bought something (a baby toy) that turned out to be very bad quality and damaged so she wanted to return it, and it turned out to actually have been shipped from a third party so Walmart itself would not take it back or handle the return process which was a nightmare. So make sure everything you buy there is Walmart itself and not a third party, and you should be fine.

The groceries thing is not available in my town. I probably would not like that because esp with vegetables I like topic my own out. Or other stuff like bread or milk I get the softest bread or latest date on milk. That will not happen with an order filler.
A friend said he daughter does that and she saves a ton of money. She is not tempted to pick stuff up because she is just walking thru the store seeing stuff.

THANK YOU! I did not know this. I will be sure to look for that info. I honestly think that if it is a third party seller it should be in a separate part of the site so people know.

I order from Walmart all the time and I have never had a problem with anything I always get my shipment when promised And nothing has ever been not packaged well or broken when I receive it and I’ve never had any problem returning something that I decided I didn’t want or was wrong or whatever I’ve never had an issue out of them whatsoever

I have actually ordered quiet a bit from walmart.. It seems to be my go to place on most of my shopping.
I haven't had a bad experience yet.. But i have heard of people having bad experiences and or their boxes
not arriving in very good condition or the items in the box.. I think alot of it depends on your location and how the drivers are.. we use to have a mail lady deliver our packages all over the place and this was out in rhome texas and she was absolutly nuts.. She would probably deliver the mail a total of 4 to 5 times a day because she doesn't know how to look at addresses properly i do remember once she even said when the mail arrived she was on the wrong street and would have to come back.. So i think alot of the time how the items arrive depends on your location and carriers..
But anyways.. I like that there is the option to ship the items all together or as they come.. I usually click altogether unless a item is going to be delayed majorly then i click seperatly.. And again i think it's location and the person packing the boxes they ship at walmart because sometimes my items will arrive with wrapping paper and bubble wrap and sometimes it will arrive with just all the items i ordered in a box all together. Nothing has ever been just torn up and broken so as far as that goes i can't really relate that to you.. But When i did order my fan last year it shipped directly from the manufactor not walmart at all and it arrived pretty early and in prestine condition with everything included instructions and all..

I order quite a lot from Walmart and have had no problems even with the third party shippers. And will be placing another order after while. It is 80 miles to a Walmart and or even further in other towns. So to get a lot of things I buy I have to order at times, If I buy it here it is so darn expensive and or not really what I want. Some times I go to a couple of elderly people and order things for them off of their computers for them. They have trouble reading some of the words and don't always under stand what they are buying I don't mind doing it for them.

Yes I have ordered from Walmart.com a few times and I like it. It is so convienent that I can pick up my stuff.

I have ordered from Wal mart .com and have been pleased with my orders. I am sure the store will honor any returns from walmart.com. I always keep receipts to make sure i do not have issues with returns.

No they won't. That is what people are saying. There are 3rd party sellers on Walmart.com as well as Walmart sales. If it comes from a 3rd party seller then you have to go back on them to get your money back. My cousin was aware of this as well. She said you can find Nike and stuff like that on the site. The stores will not let you return that to them because they do not sell it in the stores. And they are not going to return it to the original seller for you.

I only had a problem with Walmart shipping one time and it wasn't that bad. I order a computer and it didn't arrive at the time it was supposed to so I checked the order and found out it was canceled and I had to wait 2 weeks for my money to be returned.

See that is not fair. Your card is charged immediately even before you get the items. But in your case the items never even shipped and you have to wait 2 weeks to get your money back.

I can see where that would be a thing. I go in for 2 things and come out with 20. I don't shop groceries at WalMart, though, because there is a grocery store that has better prices. They do offer pick up but not delivery, that I know of. I only ordered something delivered to my house, once, from Walmart and it was fine. My daughter tried the order online to pick up at store and had a lot of trouble with it.

So Walmart will deliver or ship groceries but not deliver or ship prescription drugs. That is awful and unfair.

I have ordered a few things to be deliver to my house without issue, but NO Groceries, I like going to the store for that. All the items that I have purchase from Walmart.com has been household stuff and never had a problem with damages.

I have done both. The shipping to our home did happen within two days delivered by a huge truck with the Walmart brand all over it. One of our neighbors asked if we were having a tough go of things because we were ordering from Walmart... lol! I am a tight wad, watch every penny, and Walmart fits right in with my budget. Shipping to the store occurred within one day and the store is only about three miles away so it makes sense to drive yo the store if I am in a rush. I had a Walmart charge card (fifty dollar bonus for signing up) but the credit card servicer, Synchrony, could not get my checking account information correct so I canceled it. Kind of funny because Synchrony does a fairly good job with my Amazon Prime account...probably because we use it so much!

Guess that depends on where you live. FedEx delivers Walmart stuff in my area. I do not know why you would be having a hard time because you order from Walmart. Your neighbor sounds snooty.

I never had any problems with them.IF the box is over 50lb they don't deliver it at home.

I order from walmart.com all the time because I am handicapped and find it easy to get the 35$ threshold for free shipping and no the stuff does not always come in two days but neither does the stuff I order from Amazon always. But it is a great way for me to get stuff I need straight to my door. Seriously works for me and I figure nothing is absolutely perfect.

So how long does it take? Even 3-4 days is not a big deal if it is free shipping and the stuff arrives in good condition.

we order many things from Walmart never a problem. sometimes they put one thing in a box and ship it like a can of chili only. Seems strange but it comes. Will put something in a Ziploc bag so I get to keep that.

I order all of the time from walmart.com. I always get my orders very quickly. I have not had any issues yet. I love shopping with Wal Mart online. There are many things you can get from them online that you can't get from the physical Store.

I have, a time ago cost $1.00 each item, that rule is not anymore. I haven't use the drive up pick up yet, but really need to Walmart is a very large store. The rules on that has changed too, so read first, they shouldn't charge a fee. :o

i havent had any items shipopoed to my home but i have picked them up gfrom the4 store since it is onyl a mikle away from me. I also dont nave to woory about some item sbeing stolen from my doorstep

I used to use Walmart dot com but not anymore. A lot of times the stuff was either mislabeled or instead of two (like with curtains) you only got one. (explain to me what someone is supposed to do with only one side of a curtain?) The final straw was when their system got hacked and someone tried to order something with the credit card from my account. I no longer used them at all. To me they aren't safe or trustworthy. I now use either target or amazon for things online.

Amazon is not "always" the lowest. And you pay shipping with Amazon unless you wait 8 days to get your stuff. Walmart has FREE 2 day shipping.
