Other than Blacklist, Blindspot, and Brooklyn 99, and some History Channel shows, there isn't a lot of satisfying shows on anymore. I fall back to reruns which are better than a lot of garbage they put on now. 8)

agreed!

I cut the cord over 12 years ago. Used netflix for a little while. Got rid of that the first time they changed there pricing and still haven't gone back. We've gotten used to relying on the internet and library for entertainment. As you said there aren't many good shows out there. Particularly family friendly with morals and values that are so dang hard to instill in our kids these days.
-
How about Madam Secretary or This is Us (which isn't currently running, but it will be back). I have been finding a lot of really good shows on Amazon Prime Video. I'm currently bingeing on Goliath with Billy Bob Thornton. What a good show!
-
I mostly watch old shows like westerns and tvland sitcoms, 227, Welcome Back Kotter, Gomer etc because it's mostly trash on tv these days.
-
The only current TV show that I like is The Vikings.
-
hubby watches tv and i stay on the computer...he likes to watch documentares in the morning and we will watch a movie at night...and definitely not been any good ones out lately
-
I love Brooklyn Nine-Nine! And it's true: There's barely anything good that's new on television these days. I lost interest in The Good Place. If you like crime programs, Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda on Investigation Discovery is good too.
-
I think the problem may be that TV shows now start new seasons at somewhat irregular times, some coming and going every 6, 8, 10 months sometimes. It used to be that the new shows started pretty much all at once, but now they are all over the place. This is why I sometimes lose interest in certain shows because I get interested in something else during the long absence.

I watched the pilot episode of this quite a while ago (I think when it very first came out), but never went back for a second episode. I don't know if it was lack of time or what. Maybe I should try again?

Rick and Mort good TV but yes most isn't.
-
I watch ID channel and ABC mostly. Netflix is getting pretty bad for shows and prime is pitiful
-
"The Resident" and the "Good Doctor" are shows that I watch regularly. Medical dramas with some very interesting characters.
-
The only channel that I watch anymore is the ID Station and we just find other things to watch on Netflix. Regular TV just is not what it used to be.
-
I mostly watch the ID and HGTV channels.
-
I like to watch a few series on a couple different networks. I watch the chicago series on nbc fire,pd and med, And I watch the sitcoms on abc fresh off the boat and modern family.
-
We rarely watch any of the new TV programs and the news is not to be trusted besides all they can do is bash President Trump. So that leaves some oldies , westerns and the history channel, American picker and *bleep* stars. So I read or maybe get on the computer for awhile.

There is different spots to find TV's u gotta look online or go in person to find the best one
-
I love crime shows so I watch Investigation Discovery and Oxygen most days. I do enjoy watching New Amsterdam and The Resident as well.
-
I love police shows like Blue Bloods and any medical shows. I used to watch Grey's Anatomy when hubby was gone all week so now I'm playing catch up with that show. Love Walking Dead and Criminal Minds, too. but hubby likes the reality shows like Moonshiners, Last Alaskans, Swamp People, Life Below Zero, etc. So I miss out on the shows and have to depend on On Demand to watch. He also like Lt. Kenda and the one about the Harrisburg Medical Examiner because he used to deliver to the funeral home. Oh, and he likes the classic Hogan's Heros and Carol Burnett.
I just watched an episode of The Passage on Fox. I liked it but next episode will decide if I will keeping watching. One thing we DON'T watch are the broadcast stations-ABC, NBC, CBS.
-
The only shows I watch on tv anymore are The Conners and Will & Grace, both reboots of 90's sitcoms. TV quality has really gone downhill, and if you don't have Netflix/Amazon (like me), you're missing out on all the good new shows. Oh well. I'd rather save my money than spend it on the idiot box.
-
Who says you have to be a kid to like new shows? Not every show or movie is for kids.
-
I really do not watch TV anymore. I use it mostly for background white noise.
-
I like Law and Order, Star, anything with Gordon Ramsey and Fatal Attraction to name a few.
-
Honestly lately I've been watching more YoutTube than regular tv.
-
I have several favorites that I like to watch. I like all of the NCIS shows, Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy and any other hospital related show.
-
so true, spend more time you-tubing old shows than ever before, just find something worth sitting thru - it's a streaming world these days... forget the dumb tv - so boring, recycled nonsense
-
I like Madam Secretary on CBS, Call the Midwives on PBS and This is Us on NBC. Can anybody recommend any other good ones?
-
I think useless TV shows like soap operas and crime scenes investigations should be
replace by more educational series like how to improve your personal health, the quality of
life in our communities and historical documentaries.
