A guy shopping in a supermarket noticed a little old lady following him around. If he stopped, she stopped.
Furthermore she kept staring at him.
She finally overtook him at the checkout, and she turned to him and said,
"I hope I haven't made you feel ill at ease; it's just that you look so much like my late son."
He answered, "That's okay."
"I know it's silly, but if you'd call out "Goodbye, Mom" as I leave the store, it would make me feel so happy."
She then went through the checkout ... and as she was on her way out of the store, the man called out, "Goodbye, Mother."
The little old lady waved and smiled back at him.
Pleased that he had brought a little sunshine into someone's day, he went to pay for his groceries.
"That comes to $121.85," said the clerk.
"How come so much? I only bought 5 items.."
The clerk replied, "Yeah, but your Mother said you'd pay for her things, too."

You gotta love the senior citizens!
-
I will have to remember that when I get older. :)
-
That's not right

Thanks for the chuckle :)

Happy anniversary

A Hallmark moment with a twist: Classic. The lesson with this story is that we all have to keep an eye out for elderly ( in more ways than one ).
Just when you think they're not paying attention - Pow, you get clobbered by a fast thinking senior. What a gal!

 :in-love:   Wow that was a story that most of us wouldn't think about while being in a store. I would have turned to this person and asked them why are you following me, long before I got to the check out line. :in-love:

Well, I wasn't expecting that was all about finally a happy ending with good people then that happened. It just reminds us to never trust anyone.

You know, I am curious, IF something like that really did happen how the guy would react. What would he do? Tell the cashier I do not know her and what she said to him? Or just pay for her stuff and go on?

Cute joke , but i'm sure people have done it for real , there are so many scams , its some times hard to know fact from fiction.
-
Funny, I hope this doesn't give people ideas.

I figure people have done a lot of scam people but wouldn't think they done exactly this. But why not. I would like to think if an old lady done this she really needed help and wasn't just trying to scam anybody.
-
What a scam to pull on a person. You can't even trust senior citizens. SMDH
-
Ok that was very cute and brought a smile and chuckle to my day. I will have to post that one to my facebook as I am always putting age related jokes and cartoons on there.
