Title: N. Korean Hackers
Post by: JaniceSW on March 05, 2019, 08:24:00 am
It seems that at this time N. Korean hackers are actively trying to target American businesses such as energy, finance, telecommunications, defense, and I didn't catch the others.  Funny thing, I just received a mailing yesterday from a company stating that they handle security and data for a number of businesses and had a hacker attack. The mailing was warning me and providing info about what it was doing about it. The business it was handling is a local large complex of eye doctors and surgicenter.  Be careful about your online information!

And you know this...how???

All of your info is online.  This woman a few years ago was so scared about her bank. She got a government check and when it came in she came and withdrew it every month. Let $5 in there.  Then bought money orders to mail to pay her payments. She was scared to use checks because they might get her info.  She was scared to check her balance online because it would put her stuff "online".  I told her it IS online whether you access it or not.

You have no privacy.  And depending on how you answer these surveys you have even less.

   Hackers come in many colors!
   Not just one country.

I know this because several, not just one, news channels announced it and also several online newspapers had articles about it.  Hackers are everywhere, some after more information than just personal.  That was my point!  Hackers from places like China, Russia, and N. Korea are among those dedicated to getting serious info that could interrupt our country in some manner!
