Title: Still having trouble with telephone verification
Post by: Antlu on April 14, 2019, 12:55:43 pm
I don't get any text messages or phone calls when trying either method of telephone verification. I've tried this a couple of times in February or March I don't remember which. I think they sent some kind of support ticket for that. I don't know. Anyway, I thought I'd try again to see if its working but there hasn't been any changes. I know there are issues with people who have Sprint accounts and I understand that but I'd still like to continue with the process at some point. This looks like a pretty good site that reminds me of Cashcrate and everything. I also don't know if cashing out will be a problem if I don't complete the process. If I have to be verified fully to cash out and the problem hasn't been solved. I'll probably go elsewhere or just work with the other two I have.

It has been a long time since I did the Telephone verification, so it is hard to remember what was involved.  Back then it seemed FC prefered a land line phone but I was able to complete it on a cell phone.

Yeah. They now have options for text and phone call. I tried both but never got a call or text.

I got a text right away with a pin code. It was sent from support@fusioncash.net  ... not a phone number. Perhaps this has something to do with the issue? I have my cell phone through Verizon.

Can you call Sprint support and see if they can help or better yet, go to a Sprint retail store and see if they can help you do it.

Other members must have Sprint and had to verify.

I have a home land line and verified some years back. I had no problem but i have read now or then of a few members having verification issues.

That might be a good idea. I'm just not sure what I would be looking for.

You said that you know there are issues with persons who use Sprint.  How do you know this?

I am assuming that when you try to verify, you do not get an email or text with a pin number which you need to put in the computer.  Is that correct?

Have you gone to Terms of Service? There is a section about telephone verification which might be helpful. FC uses a site called TeleSign Corporation to verify phone numbers. Perhaps you could contact support for TeleSign Corporation for help but I suggest that you read the section on verification before you do.

Have you opened a support ticket with Fusion Cash asking them for suggestions?

Before you do, try another browser and see if that will help. And if you call Sprint support, just tell them what is going on: that you are on Fusion Cash trying to make a little money and need to verify your phone number but do not get a text message or email with a pin number.

What I first do is try the voice call thing. I put my phone number in and do everything it tells me and I don't get the call. There is some type of error on the screen: "An error occurred while trying to call you. Start over?."

When I try it through text messages I get the following:

"We have sent a text message (SMS) to the number you provided. (I never received the text)

Our users report that the message usually arrives for Sprint customers in less than 1 minute(s), but it may take longer.
We kindly ask for your patience - stay on this page for at least 5 minutes before trying again.

Warning: Sprint sometimes doesn't deliver the code properly. If the text message doesn't have a code, please go back and use the voice call method instead.

Please enter the three digit code:  (numbers only) (Again, no text to put in. Its been a few minutes now since I've done this and am still waiting. I think the first couple of times doing this I waited longer than the 5 minutes they ask for.)

Once you have entered the code, please click the button below to complete the verification process. "

I think when I first had this problem I sent a support ticket. No one got back to me about it. I have a new one in anyway now.

Edit: called telesign. I don't really think they can help with the problem but they suggested I e-mail them so I did using the form on the website. TOS wasn't helpful. It just said something about how I'd need to verify the number to cash out and that they use Telesign.

Edit 2:
I got a text right away with a pin code. It was sent from support@fusioncash.net  ... not a phone number. Perhaps this has something to do with the issue? I have my cell phone through Verizon.

Checked my texts. Nothing from support@fusioncash.net.

Your situation sounds terribly frustrating.

I might try going to the Sprint store and explaining the situation. Maybe they can help.

As said, at the bottom of the Fusion Cash page, there is Terms of Service and there is a section about telephone verification.

If push comes to shove, there are other sites to earn money on but keep trying to verify with Fusion Cash because it is a pretty good site.

I might have to do that. I have a few other places to earn cash from. Annoying that I have money going here.

Sorry for double but I found there is a non telephone option where I can fax the company my information. It will take a while to get any of the documents they ask for though.

I'm having the same issue with verifying my number, I've tried several numbers, mine, my husbands, a friends, a landline and its always the same. I've opened a support ticket but haven't heard back yet. How did you find the fax information?

Go into your account like you'd normally verify you telephone number. Under the first screen where you put your number in you should see this:

Quote
In order to fight fraud, we now require users to provide and validate a telephone number.
We respect your privacy. We use telephone numbers for verification purposes only -- we will never share, rent, or sell your telephone number, nor will we use it for commercial purposes.
» Unable or unwilling to do this?

Click on "Unable or unwilling to do this?". That will take you to the information you need for sending a fax. It requires some kind of cover page. The button to get to the cover page to be printed will be on the bottom of the page.
