We spend a majority of our life at work. Are you working somewhere that you love, or are you there because of the money, it being close to home?
I love what I do. I am so glad that I can get up every day and not hate what I do or the co-workers.

I don't love my job but I don't exactly hate it. I mostly stay for the benefits.

Hi :D :)
For so long I hated my job and hated what I do. Then I decided I didn't want to live my life like that anymore so I created my own business. Best decision I ever made! :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:

I work because I need money to live.

This is my dream. I am working on it.

I am retired so don't work now, but when I did work, I did not mind the job but I wouldn't say I was crazy about it either. It was somewhere in between. I didn't hate getting up in the morning to get to the job but I sure did look forward to 5 pm when I could go home.

I don't love it or hate it. It's tolerable so I stay.

You echo my feelings about my job when I worked. I am now retired also. One of the best things about my job was when I was successful helping someone become employable and they received a job offer in my line of work. Another plus was the people I worked with. Most were very nice people. However, I didn't love the job and putting in the full 8 hours with sometimes an extra 3-4 hours from home on weekends was drudgery at times.
-
I neither hate nor love my day time job but need the money and have become complacent in looking for other jobs. I am blessed with only having to go in to the office three days a week (work from home the other two) wearing jeans the majority of the time, do not have to deal with micromanagement, get seven weeks of vacation per year plus holidays, can come in early and leave early so that I can make more money at home on my second job. My second job van be a little boring but I, once again, neither hate nor love the job. It fits, provides the family with extra cash and does not micro manage my activity. I am always looking for additional streams of income and I love those because they are 'extra' cash and, as such, are not required activities.

I work to survive...I think everyone else does it for the same reason.
I have to love what I do. If I am not happy, I will look for a workplace that
I like and love.
-
Doing stuff like Fusion Cash is my Job. It seems like I work at it all the time. I would not say I love doing this but I don't hate it either. :cat:
-
Working for the money always. Most of the people I didn't like and then there were the supervisors who tried to micromanage.
-
I am retired now; but when I was in the workforce full time I did what I enjoyed; even though there were probably some other fields I could have worked in and made more money, I tried to find a good balance of doing what I love and making a decent salary for doing it.
-
I guess at this point I am working for the money. I don't necessarily dislike my job but I don't love it like I used to. Just riding it out till can retire.
-
I never liked many jobs I had years ago. when i had a baby stayed at home then had another couple years later. did do refunding loved that you could make a few dollars a week like surveys now.
-
I fell into my current job and couldn't be happier. I work at a RV resort on the Anclote River just before it flows into the Gulf of Mexico. Every day here is a gift!
-
I love what I do and I work because I love it. But right now I am not liking the place I work at right now. We all go through waves though, right.
-
I love what I do. I was lucky enough to be able to stay at home as a Mom of six wonderful children. It was hard at times not having the extra income, but we made it work.
-
Eh, I'm indifferent. However, if I had the option to not work I would definitely not be working lol
-
I am retired except for what little job projects my husband comes up with ::) I was once a teacher and loved it, but wuld not want to go back in the classroom again. Years and cultural changes are too much for me to handle any more.
-
When I was working at my previous job, I loved what I did but didn't like management. The pay was lousy but it paid the bills. I quit to find something to do at home and be my own boss. I am now just trying to find any kind of work for the money to pay bills. I would love to find something working from home that I could love and make good money. You need to do what you love.

I really like what I do and where I work. Like it a whole lot more after hitting the 40 hour mark. I am on unlimited overtime. Some weeks are really long but love the paycheck!
-
I enjoy my job....but that doesn't mean it's smooth sailing or that every moment is great...and I definitely feel the $ pinch at times.
-
The job that I currently have is just for the money, but I am officially quitting in two months. I am unhappy to the point that I feel sick every time I think about going to work. I made the decision to leave in October and I have not second guess my self yet so I know it is time for me to move on. Life is too short to stay in a job that you do not like.
-
I enjoy my job.....the hours/schedule, not so much.
We've been short staffed for awhile now, so I've put in a LOT of overtime. When I get a day off, I feel a load off my chest.
-
I'm retired but I most of the time enjoyed my job people I worked with and all the ones I met doing my job but sad that I was not able to spend 24/7 with my kids as they were growing up. at first it was not for the money but later when my husbands job was eliminated due to shut down of alloy plant it was for the money
-
I think it is a little of both. I certainly can use the money and I do like majority of the people I worked with. I have since retired and miss the money as well as the people.
-
It is a little of both for me. I love the job I do. However, in all honesty, I wouldn't be doing it for free...which is why it is a job and not a hobby/career.
-
I enjoy what I do, but I also love the money too because I need it.
-
It's always been for the money. Hubby, too.
