It's been surprising to many to see the Raptors take the lead over the Warriors in the series....looks like they're going to win it all!
-
The Raptors are doing what they need to do to win it all.
-
I was surprised too. With the dominance of the Warriors over the past 5 years I honestly thought it would be Warriors in 6 even without Kevin Durant. After they won 5 straight games from game 6 of the semifinals vs the Rockets and the WCF vs the Blazers that especially looked possible like they could win without him. Toronto has been really great this series and I think it's been their defense that's been the difference in the series. Game 2 was pretty close in the end and it's amazing to think that but for that Andre Iguodala clutch 3 they would have been swept. I'm rooting for Toronto so I'm happy.

Believe the Warriors are just tired. Still Toronto is doing well. Will see what happens.

I don't watch basketball so I would have no idea if this is a good thing a surprising thing, etc. LOL
-
The hubby has been watching, I am not following this year; I guess his team is winning from the loud sounds I hear coming from the den.

I thought this was basketball. I heard of the Warriors before but I never heard of the Raptors. :turkey: :turkey: :turkey: :turkey:

I really don't follow basketball, it seems boring to me.
-
I’m pulling for the Warriors although it looks like the raptors are going to be the winners both teams are well deserving and may the best team win
-
i havent watch any basketball finals

As much as I hate to admit it, once my team was eliminated, my interest level dropped like a rock and I haven't watched any basketball since then. I follow the scores, but really haven't even watched any highlights. It hasn't been a case of sour grapes for me, but just a complete lack of desire. I guess other interests have taken over the front seat...

Well they didn't take it all tonight. I only caught the last few minutes of the game and I thought they had it in hand but then things changed with less than a minute to go. I would love to see the Raptors win (since I saw one of the players back in his college career and also I hate to see the same team win year after year).

You all must remember the Warriors or all hurt up, but they won last night and hope they can come back.

It has been a good serles and fun to watch, will be history either way it goes.

The one factor that gets little discussion is the Warriors have been there and done that, which is what gives them the backbone to pull off last minute energy that wins games that appear to be lost. I saw it happen as I watched every game in the Western Conference Finals against my team (Portland).

And just like that the Raptors win their first championship.

Good series.

I am surprised too that the Raptors are where they are at currently. It’s really good for them, I’m happy for them.
-
I'm glad a different team won this year. It should be mixed up with a different team winning, not the same one each time.
-
How about neither? lol
-
It's about time they won a championship. A little sad, but better late than never.
