:)I etired 2 years ago and have not been on any trips since then. Next week my cousin and I are going to Savannah, Ga. for a few days. I want to make videos for my youtube channel. Then then when we get home then I am driving to PA. to visit my daughter for 10 days. I can hardly wait. Have a great week.

I retired in Sept 2000 and have enjoyed it more than I can measure. A lot of that has been traveling, so it's high on my short list of things to do when retired. Have fun! Be sure to let us know your YouTube Channel when you get things posted so we can have a look.

I retired in Sept 2000 and have enjoyed it more than I can measure. A lot of that has been traveling, so it's high on my short list of things to do when retired. Have fun! Be sure to let us know your YouTube Channel when you get things posted so we can have a look.
Be sure to let us know where to look for you. I love to travel but my husband does not, so I am starting to travel ore and more with out him. Party Pooper, he just loves to go and hang out in Colorado, I do to some times, but I want to see lots of other things too!

I don't think not wanting to travel is being a "party pooper". I have no interest in traveling. People are different. I guess if the world was different I might have more interest in it.

Yay for you. I think after just one trip I'd need some time to recover before going on another. Ya must have some more energy now. That's great. Have a fun time... enjoy your trips and be safe. Looking forward to hearing about them.

Wow, ejholt! That sounds great! I hope you and your cousin have a wonderful time! I've been to Pennsylvania when I was a teenager, and it was really nice. I've never been to Savannah, but I hear it is beautiful! My dream is to travel some when my husband and I retire, but we haven't yet settled on where we should go, since it's 11 years away! ; :peace:

I don't think not wanting to travel is being a "party pooper". I have no interest in traveling. People are different. I guess if the world was different I might have more interest in it.
I don't think it's being a Party-Pooper either, but a Wet-Blanket is another story and that only takes a group of two or more.

We have only take a couple of trips this year. Not because we couldn't afford it . It was that we were too busy to go at times and of the time. Then having to be here for my step-father so darn much along with fart who is staying with him. ( who was suppose to get his own place quite some time ago but got real sick) Now have two of them to haul around. My brother want take Roger the guest . So it aa is falling on me. My sister lives in Alaska and is here rarely. Yesterday we had to go get Roger who had been in rehab with his heart for 10 days and never let any of us know where he was. When we picked him up he went into a major temper tantrum . Told him when we got home if he did it again I was not going to pick him up again with my husband. and or not with hubby. I don't care he is a nasty old man I don't really like him but he is company for my stepfather. Even tho he would like for him to move out. I don't know what is going to happen.

How exciting for you! & how great it is that you make youtube videos, that is awesome! I'd love to visit GA, I've never been & it looks so beautiful there. Hope you have a great time there & on your 2nd excursion to see your daughter. :)

First of all happy retirement. Second of all, it sounds like you have earned the trips so go forth and enjoy them. Seeing new places and visiting family you haven't seen in a while can be the most rejuvenating thing in the world.
