I have been with FC for many years and it seems that there are less active members on forum than in the past. I am only very aware of this because I am trying to make 30 posts by Tuesday night. Myself, I do not have that much to say so I am looking to respond to other posts but there does not seem to be many new posts over the last few days.

I'm new, but I also notice that the forums are not very active. I wonder why that is as people will usually swarm to paid to post forums. I think Fusioncash is still considered one of the biggest and most popular GPT sites out there, but the forums have very little activity. Only a few users are posting everyday.

It is a great forum and used to be extremely active. I do not know what happened. It is an easy $3 as well as fun.

Perhaps it's because we no longer have contests? I imagine people would come to the forum to see what kind of bonuses they could win from contests. And now that there's none of that available, people stopped checking the forum? Like I said, I'm new so I don't really know all the details, but getting paid $3 for 30 posts is pretty generous and I would've thought that people would jump on this opportunity.

I do not think that the problem is with contests. I think there are just less persons on FC or at least on forum. As you said, you are new but I have been on this site for years and this forum once hopped.
It makes me feel sad.
There is a discussion about a person named Hitch and others which I do not quite understand but that discussion has hundreds of views and 20 or so posts and responses. It goes for at least two pages and the whole thing seems to be of little value ....

Even though I'm new, I looked back on some of the old contests and they seem like something I would've joined. So contests had some value, imo. I feel like FC still pays a lot of people. At least more than the 20+ people who are active on the forum. There's got to be a reason why other users are not participating in the forums. I'm saying contests probably attracted people here and then they would post and so, forums would be more active.
Hope the forums can be more active again. It'd be really helpful, especially to new members.

Im sure your comments are of little value to him as well.Best to you finding something of value.May i suggest the dollar stores.

I have been here for roughly a year and a half, and I have also noticed a reduction in the amount of activity on the forum. I understand the thought about contests, but my own theory is that because there has also been a reduction in the number of offers available, there is no sparking of any new conversations or questions.

i have also been with FC for several years and have seen a the change as well on the forum. FC members are great and i enjoy the forum. I know people are busy including myself but i hope the activity level will increase i miss the interesting toica and differing viewpoints. :rainbow: :peace: :wave:

I always seem to find the one or two posts I can comment on to make my 30 and once in a while I can easily get 10 or so in one day. When I get here, I click on Unread Replies, then in the breadcrumbs link at the top (FC Community »Updated Topic) I click FC Community to go back after I finish the list and choose Unread Posts. Between these two searches I pick the interesting posts. If all else fails, I think of something to start a new Topic (even if it's just a joke).
I am creeping up on 10,000 posts made, so it must be working.

Well, I finally did get my 30 posts in and requested bonus. I usually get my 30 posts by the third week of the month but I am leaving tomorrow and wanted to request my bonus this past weekend. And that s what I did. ;)
I prefer to take my time posting.

I think your point is valid as well. Less offers, less discussion. But again, I think there's maybe 20 people active here and I feel like more than 20 people get paid every month. So are those people just giving up on the $3 bonus?

I have noticed that as well. I know several have stated they do their 30 posts and don't come back in the forums. That sounds like a good idea. People are tired of HB's drama. You can spend your time reading
non-sense or doing something with a real return. It only takes 30 posts to get the $3 bonus.

I always respond to others as well. Sometimes, I can't find anyone to respond to.

I noticed this also. Usually try and do my 30 post by the 15th of the month but do check it everyday to see if any interesting has been posted for the day. Maybe when winter settles in and people might be less busy and post more

Well, some people don't hang out on forums all day. Some work, and might not be able to get to forums that night. Various reasons why people don't hang out on forums.

I've been gone for the past week and did not post anything, but I am back to normal. I do believe it's okay to "post" in the forum from a different IP address, but you can't do any offers. Someone correct me if I am wrong. Usually when I am on a trip, I just take a break from everything on FC, and then when I return, I'm refreshed and ready to go!

Just because people are not posting in the forums doesn't mean they have left the site. Most people would rather spend their time actually doing something to earn money.

I noticed that as well. I always post when I have new wins, offers, etc but not many new posts to comment on of others.

I know what you mean bostonphil, there used to be a lot more to post on. Here we have 2 days left in the month of Sept. and I'm a handful of posts shy of my 30. There is just not a lot I want to comment on. like a lot of posters here I blame the lack of offers.

I am often very guilty of not being as active as I should. I plan on making that one of my priorities for this site. I will say, however, this forum is a lot more active than other similar forums.

Some probably get their forum bonus for the month & just to drop off. Not to mention this time of year people are busier with other things. Also, it doesn't help when multiple people put things in the wrong category's . If you don't look at some you won't see some of the posts that should be in like off-topic or somewhere else and such

I think that there is always plenty of stuff to respond to in the forums if you dig deep enough, but to be honest many times I don't have anything constructive to say. More often than not, I find myself just reading through the back and forth and end up leaving the site without posting anything new.
There are some topics that I am more passionate about and will join in when I read something that interests or irks me. There are other times when I start to respond to a topic and decide that my opinion/response is either too harsh/inciteful or too rambling or too boring and I just end up deleting it before hitting the <post> button.
In any case - $3.00 a month is a great incentive and I intend to partake until it is no longer offered, regardless of whether there are other contests and bonuses offered or not.

Compared to other site FC does have a more active forum. I just think that people are getting busier and are not going on FC more often.

Since I originally created this discussion, activity on Forum seems to have picked up. I recently returned from vacation and the Forum seems to be going strong. I hope that it continues.

It could also mean that the forum is losing popularity....
