For me, Evil Dead (2013) There are older versions as well but the one in 2013 was scary to me.
-
The scariest Movie that I have ever seen is The Exorcist. I will never watch it again. It really upset me because I knew that it was a True Movie and all of those things really took place.
-
Poltergeist. I don't like scary movies.
-
My scariest movie was The Exorcist. i saw it in the movies and it was horrible! Everyone in the audience screamed at some points of it. The worse part was when I got home that night...we had just moved to our first home, a bungalow in the country. It was empty for a few years. I had trouble sleeping because of the quietness of the country. No traffic. Anyway, remember in the movie the knocks on the ceiling???? Yep...happened that night. Scared me to death. I was awake all night. Turned out it was squirrels in the attic crawl space storing their walnuts for the winter by bouncing them across the floor which sounded just like knocking. Now I call it squirrels playing basketball until we got rid of them.

I guess the first one would be The Haunting of Hill House that I saw with my cousin when we were both 16 years old. She had just gotten her driver's license and had to drive home alone after dropping me off at home and she was scared to death.
Rosemary's Baby was pretty bad at the time since we had our own young baby at home. But then we saw The Exorcist at the drive-in and that shot to the top of the list immediately.
I avoid all horror flicks now. I don't like being scared. It's hard to shake the feeling afterwards. What is the point? ???

Friday 13th, don't like Jason.
-
I was really scared of "The Ring". I don't normally get too scared from movies but that was creepy. And I was 22 at the time even! lol
-
Would have to be Pet Cemetery. It was the scariest movie ever.
-
The Thing (when I was a kid),
-
For me it would have to be Pet Cemetery. Just watching all those pets die and then come back and be so mean is scary. My daughter would say Chucky.
-
I would have to say the original "Halloween" :pumpkin:
-
The Omen-70's one with gregory Peck
-
There are a lot of scary movies out there.... The Exorcist is def a topper.... I think the paranormal movies are pretty scary too since that stuff also happens!!!
-
I like all the Freddie movies, I like horror and mystery shows
-
There are lots of scary movies, but I remember when I was about 11'or 12 my girlfriend and I watched a movie called I saw what you did and I know who you are. We were so scared watching that and I still remember how terrified we were.
-
Original Night of the living dead in black and white...was nine years old when it was new...creeped me out....now I love zombie movies...
-
I would have to say the first Paranormal Activity when it came out because afterward, any scary movie I've seen doesn't get to me as much.
-
Omg there are so many to pick from. the conjuring!! i still cant watch the whole thing it is soooo scary. but i do agree with that the exorist is a realy scary one too. another classic the shinning but the book is way scarier
-
This Island Earth, saw as a little kid and was scared to death. If I saw it now as a grown up it would probably be no big deal! LOL
-
I really don't do horror movies so the scariest I've seen is probably Poltergeist. That's pretty tame compared to what's out there but I have learned that it's so much better not to put certain things into your mind in the first place.

Oh yes, the Conjuring was scary. I might rewatch all of them soon.
-
Oh snap it is a cross between "Jeepers Peepers" and "The Shining" with "Ghost Ship" coming in a close third. Those movies among others kept me from sleeping for days lol
-
we watch them all,,,but i do remember watching the blob when i was about 8..it was the black and white version..scared the crap out of me...had nightmares from it..and anything from shock theatre...watched it years later and was like why were you scared of that...lol...my youngest granddaughter is scared of Annabelle..lol..the oldest one watches everything...but i do jump at some of the them..but because they catch me off guard..
-
The original Cujo, I was about 8 years old when I first saw it and it scared me a lot. I have seen it since and it wasn't as scary but as a child it sure was.
-
The scariest movie to me was The Omen (the original). I guess the idea of a kid being evil incarnate and the idea that the parents were tricked into thinking he was their son kind of just creeped me out. I never was a fan of jump-scare or *bleep* horror, but evil and psychologically dark movies can really give me the *bleep*. :peace:
-
the very first time I saw Poltergeist it scared the heck out of me.
-
Original Night of the living dead in black and white...was nine years old when it was new...creeped me out....now I love zombie movies...
That movie really scared me....I had nightmares about it.

Ju-on: The Grudge I thought was the scariest movie. I will not watch that one, if no one is home. Now the American remake really did not do much for me.
-
It was and still is the Exorcist for me. Definitely left an impression.
-
Candyman was the scariest for me. Now, not so much but the first time I saw it, it was.
-
i agree that growing up the exorcist was pretty scary.
-
I can't think of any movie that was actually scary to me. ???
-
The Exorcist , and I will not watch it again ever.
-
The original version of The Grudge where the women slowly descends down the stairs slowly and busting out all the crabwalk and twist and turns, Even though the scene was about 30 seconds to a minute it felt like 5+minutes of me shutting my eyes and looking back and forth waiting for it to be over with.

The Beaver challenging CountryGirl hes not stupid.
Rated PG
Or maybe it was Revenge of the Lawnmower
-
As a small child I hated the movie IT. Now a days movies just don't scare me.
-
To name a few, Candyman and *bleep* Mary.
-
The one that made me scare as a child was Night of the Living Dead......
-
I don't watch scary movies! If it looks scary - I pass it up. No need for me to add any more stress to my day! :pumpkin:
-
I would have to say Hostel(2005) film its just seems all to real, something that could happen in real life.
-
I know what you did last summer. I love scary movies. Didn't think the exorcist was scary at all.
-
The Grudge. The noise the lady did scared me to death.
-
The new Addams Movie. Not that it was scary, but it was TERRIBLE.
-
The birds I think seen at 10 it really scared me . As an adult I suppose the exorcist.
-
Has to be The Exorcist as I am not a fan of horror or scary movies. My husband and daughter love them so I always find something else to do when they are watching them at home or going to the theater.
