Like most of you if not all of you reading this, I'm a Karate Kid fan and love the Cobra Kai show on youtube red. The problem here is, I've only gotten to see the first two episodes and I glean what I can from teaser videos other fans post on youtube and it's just not good enough! Tell me everything that you want to talk about, what surprised you, what do you like about the show or dislike and answer if you can for me a few of my questions like: What happened between Robby and Daniel? is Miguel paralyzed? if so, how did it happen? Why did Johnny lose all his students (he was doing a great job making them stronger people, I thought!), what's the deal with Miyagi's medal of honor? and lastly, what's this I hear about Daniel finding Johnny drunk and dejected and about to take him to Okinawa? Spoil me, spoil me, spoil me!! "Cobra Kia, never die!"

I'm not sure about that last one (Daniel finding Johnny drunk and dejected and about to take him to Okinawa) I think that's probably a rumor for next year, cuz it didn't happen in the show.
It would probably take too long for me to summarize all of last season, but in a nutshell:
Kreese returned and supplanted Johnny as head sensi at Cobra Kai (Buying the building out from under him and coaxing Johnny's students over to his 'brand' of Cobra Kai)
Miguel had a love 'rectangle' with Sam, Robbie & new girl Ally. Eventually things all came to a head during a huge karate fight at school that left Sam badly beaten by Ally and Robby sending Miguel over a rail, leaving
him -supposedly- paralyzed.
The season ends with Daniel closing the Miyagi dojo and Johnny on the beach contemplating where everything went wrong.
It's a great series. No fan of the Karate Kid franchise could ask for better.

Yes, in my haste I forgot to mention Daniel finding Johnny dejected is for season 3 as I've read filming will take place in Okinawa. Somebody needs to start a blog about this show cause' it's killing me to miss what's going on! I saw how Kreese came back and fought with Johnny but still don't get why the students went over to Kreese, so much for loyalty. Obviously I didn't see the school fight but that explains what happened to Miguel, really like his character, hope he makes it back! Gotta find out more about why Daniel closes the dojo. I know Hawk trashed it but that doesn't sound like the reason. Maybe Daniel needs to collect his thoughts etc. that's why he's going to Okinawa? It is a great series, can't remember the last time a show has held my interest like this one.

I think Daniel thought opening the Dojo would give kids a morally healthy alternative to the Cobra Kai. However, by the end, I think he views it as causing escalation in the conflict between students.
Yeah, I'm really looking forward to next season. It's the rare series where just about every episode is a winner.

Hi singletonb!, We're talking about the youtube red series called Cobra Kai. At this point you can view the first two episodes of the series for free on youtube, after that you're asked to subscribe to youtube red to see the rest of the episodes. I don't really want to subscribe to youtube red (don't have the extra money, don't trust youtube with my paypal info) but I'm extremely curious to find out what will happen to the characters and storyline so I'm on here hoping to get some juicy details. Unfortunately, the only FC members who seem interested is jedijohnny, myself and perhaps you! If you're a fan of the Karate Kid you MUST check out this show but be warned, it's very addicting!
