Title: So far so good

Well I had the cataract surgery in my left eye which was really really bad (could see NO letters at all on the screen just a square blur) but it has been 10 days and my vision just keeps getting better.  I will have the right eye on November 18th and will be glad to be done. Thanks fr all your prayers and or positive comments and thoughts.

Good to hear.  I have a number of friends who've had successful cataract removal.  Still, it sounds scary to have any surgery on the eye.

Glad you are seeing better.  I had one done a few years ago and I was terrified.  I think because it was the eye, but it's an easy procedure and boy can you see better.

Happy to hear it went well. If you're not queasy about stuff like this, you can watch videos of cataract removals on YouTube. Although you may want to wait until after your other eye is done. :)

It's so quick, a tiny little vacuum just sucks the bad lens out and the doctor pops in a new one. I think it's so cool!

Glad to hear your cataract surgery went well.  Most people have great success.  I imagine I will need it some year down the line.

Glad to hear it went well and smoothly! I have heard good things about eye surgeries in general - that they're beneficial, effective, and generally smooth sailing - but there's always a risk.

Good that all went well, the second one should do well too.
