Title: My New Favorite Saying

I saw a picture on Social Media today that really grabbed my attention.  I now can't get it out of my mind. It's a great concept to live by.  A lady was holding up a blanket with the saying written across it.  It said something like, "Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but about learning how to dance in the rain!"  I love that and see how it can apply to so many situations!

Yes, that is very nice.  It's also quite practical.  One of the many things my mom used to say is : "I make the best of a bad situation".  That too can applied in different ways. 

My mom passed away 7 years ago today.  I miss her and my dad very much.   :(

As i got older i started to prefer cloudy days over sunny days.Not that i want it to rain all the time,but id like to be in Oregon on a hillside overlooking the pacific Ocean on a cloudy day around 60-65 degrees slight breeze hitting me in the face.

My mom also passed a week before Xmas in 1992.I miss her too.My dad passed in 1982 a week past 4th of July.Ya wonder where time went.

Getting back to Oregon thing.....ive never been there and not crazy about flying cos im in NY.Maybe a few wines might do the trick someday.When we have spring and fall in NY you can still capture a serenity like i described here and upstaste NY is beautiful too.

I like slogans too and even wrote one for myself many years ago that I still live by with great success. "Give with no expectation of any return and the dividends will amaze you".

I have that saying on my living room wall my daughter bought that for me couple years ago and put it on my living room wall I love that saying

Life can be a challenge and learning ways to get through is important. If one thing doesn't work try something else.
