:( Today I saw a high paying survey on Tap (over $1.50), I tried it because I figured it might have a higher DQ. It did not DQ me and it said it was 30 minutes...so I went ahead and did it. 50 mins. later I was only half done.....I had to get ready for work soon so I just had to close it out after a few more minutes.
Has anyone else had to end a survey because they just ran out of time?

It doesn't take me anywhere near that long to decide to close a survey that runs on, I won't take that much risk that it won't pay for whatever reason. There are too many others that take lass time and effort.

Yes, I have occasionally had to leave a survey due to time constraints. It's unfortunate. However, I generally try to stick to surveys with reasonable time estimates. I only try a longer survey when I know for a fact that I will have time to complete it.

Yeah, that happened to me more than a few times. If you have the time you don't qualify and if you are strapped for time then you do. :BangHead:

I try to do them on my days off from work so i dont have to hustle

I have had a few that went well beyond what they said they would.

I have had many over the years that were much longer than stated and I mean much longer. I have given up on some which I seldom do.
I, now, set time limits on surveys. I almost never even attempt a survey that says it is over 20 minutes. Even then, the survey sometimes goes longer and even every so often much longer. And even then, I sometimes complete and submit but never get credit.
Time is money it is said and my time is too valuable to be taken advantage of.
Regarding the survey that you closed out of. Sometimes you can go back to it and pick up where you left off.

It's rare that I get a survey that doesn't DQ me long before the time it says.

Lol isn't that the truth!! I sometimes tell myself, OK, I'll try just 1 more, then discover Oh that was a bad idea!! The thing is, you can't rush it either. So, I try to always be prepared to use up at least 30 minutes for almost every survey.

Sometimes I get surveys like that. Not often, though.

I have left a survey for an hour or more then came back and was able to finish. Surprised by that was on my pc not sure if that had anything to do with it.

I will not take over 20 mins to do surveys, because at that time i become impatient...too long for true

Yes. And I have just quit because it was like you said an eternity and not even half way through You cannot go by the time. It is never correct. Even the one that says 1-2 minutes takes more like 10. And TAP surveys suck on pay. I have completed more than one that took at least 45 minutes and the pay is around 30 cents.

I was taking a survey a few days ago and had to go somewhere. I thought I'd leave the window open and come back to it, but the survey automatically disqualified me. I didn't know they did that. I still got a DQ bonus, but I was really hoping to finish the survey for full credit.

Most of the surveys I complete take longer than the estimated time,but when I start one,I finish it.I avoid surveys that have an estimated time of more than 30 minutes.
