Title: Today is my birthday
Post by: Nancy5 on January 14, 2020, 06:08:15 am: My family is taking me out to my favorite seafood restaurant tonight. It's funny when you're young you can't wait for birthdays, but when you're older not so mych. 😆

My mom always used to make a big deal out of our birthdays now there isn't anyone much left to make a big deal out of it except my sons lol try the best they can. Nancy I have been blessed to get to know you through this forum and I wish you an awesome birthday full of blessings and all good things. :present:

I always feel special on my birthday even when my family is too busy to visit. I do not even really do anything special except perhaps taking a half day off from my day job and taking off the full shifts from the other two jobs. I am perfectly content relaxing with a good book-curled up with my dogs. I love celebrating everyone else's birthday! I am taking my son to Amsterdam for his twenty first and my daughter is celebrating graduation (and her Birthday/My wife's Birthday) in Australia. My son is working on getting free flights and accommodations for a trip to Colombia through a high school friend of his that is well connected. I am not holding my breath (lol).

Just seeing this - Happy Birthday. My birthday was also 1/14 and I am at the point where I don't necessarily want to celebrate my birthday I am just glad to be around to see another one. I hope it was a great one for you, instead of a seafood place we went to a steak place.
