Have you had to cancel pr postpone anything because of the virus? Some of my cousins and I have been planning our family reunion for this July. We are looking into canceling it. We have a family reunion every year in a different state and this year was going to be in mine. I have a big family spread out over the country and we look forward to it every year. We started planning last summer and have put a lot of work, money and time into it. I was hoping July would be far enough that it won't be affected but they are saying it might last until June. I would still like to continue but two of my cousins definitely want to cancel. I'd be disappointed but everything is just so uncertain it's hard to plan for the future.

I was supposed to take a family vacation to Florida in a few weeks. But, because of the pandemic, my job restricted / cancelled all leave requests. Ugh.
-
I had several concerts I was planning to go to this year and now I guess must of them are going to be cancelled. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
-
I had my first international trip all planned and paid for. It was scheduled for March 31. Well, thank goodness I took the insurance which fully covered getting my money back. Luckily, the sponsoring tour company decided to refund 105% of the payment if you took a travel voucher for future use with them. I took it! As of today, I would have been in the Netherlands crossing over to Belgium!
-
No plans as far as vacation have been ruined.
-
A close friend of mine was supposed to have a pacemaker put in but the hospital postponed and they don't even know when they can do it. :o
-
We are scheduled to fly out to the Big Island in Hawaii on June 7th for two glorious weeks in Paradise. Still holding on that we will be able to make our trip but it is looking more doubtful each passing day. I've been waiting three years for this trip! :(
-
A lot of stuff for my kids for school has been canceled. Both of my kids are very disappointed and I am very sad for them both.
-
A couple of destination weddings have been postponed to a later date. I'm not too psyched about flying anyway.
-

I feel worse for the kids.
i have 2 nephews graduating from college and one niece graduating from high school. all graduation activities have been postponed or cancelled. :rainbow: :peace:

I was supposed to travel to Massachusetts in July to take care of my daughter's cat in her house while she and her husband travelled to Japan to see the summer Olympics, but the Olympics have been cancelled, so I had to cancel my trip too.
-
My church was going to have a big celebration in May for homecoming and celebrating 150 years. A former pastor that I liked so much was going to speak and I was looking forward to seeing him again. The celebration has been postponed.
-
Cutbacks in all 4 of my jobs...had planned a couple small weekend trips and some concerts....big thing is my brother is scheduled to get married in August in Norway so not sure if that is going to happen
-
No bday dinner at red lobster
-
No plans really. Had a Doctors appointment but we had a conference call which worked out wonderfully for me.
-
With warmer weather on the way, I wanted to fly to California and I wanted to drive to Ohio to see family. Easter is around the corner. It will be so different this year. No family gatherings, no easter egg hunt and no cookouts. I guess we all have to see what will happen next and deal with it.

Too many things too mention.

Getting together with family for Easter. Never travel anyway so not missing that.

We were going to remodel out upstairs bathroom this summer, and do our living room panel, but now we are both out of work until (who knows?) so, we do not dare spend any money. I hope you all are well and safe.
-
Anyone wanna buy my Carnival cruise line tickets for April? BHahahahaha :confused1: :turkey: :confused1:
-
We had remodeling scheduled for 2 bathrooms and painting and new floors for the entire side of the house with the bedrooms. The other side we did and finished just before Christmas. Since we need to be staying home we can't have contractors in and out all day long. Hopefully we can do this summer sometime.
-
None aside from me and my old pals going somewhere to eat and talk about the past.
-
No plans really it has just disrupted my normal routine and I miss my grandkids
-
Still faithfully holding on to the thin hope that I will be on a plane on 06/07 heading to Hilo, Hawaii!
-
Covid 19 has ruined my plans to spen the Summer with my Mom. We had such great plans of things to go and do.
-
We were supposed to go to the NASCAR race in dover delaware on May 3rd it has already been postponed. My son was supposed to run spring track and that has been postponed and will probably be cancelled and finally the most important one, my daugter is graduating from college, we don't know if they will have any type of ceremony or commencement.
-
School graduations have all been cancelled. No prom, no grad night, no senior ditch day, no walking down the aisle to get the diploma... it has all been cancelled. My daughter is graduating high school this year & all those things that you get to do during your last year have been cancelled. That has been the worst part of this quarantine, those life event moments that you can't get back.
-
barbershop and dentist. Have a cavity and some perm caps to do
-
church and being with my kids
-
Really, the only things we've missed are church, Bible study and eating out. Although, my husband does Uber, Lyft and, now, Instacart and he's been complaining about the stores being a pain now, closing early, trying to institute one way aisles, lines outside because only so many are allowed in the store, etc, etc. We both think it's very unnecessary.
-
My nephew's wedding in March. Felt so bad after a year and half of waiting and they are having trouble trying to reschedule it
-
Right now i have had to reschedule my dentist, massage and eye appointments
-
Can't get together with relatives before they go home. It will be next fall before they come back to FL (snowbirds)
-
My Grandson's communion ceremony.

If missing graduation is the worse thing that happens to you and your family during this then consider yourself extremely lucky!

We were not able to attend the Dinner Theater production of THE MUSIC MAN.
So far it is still uncertain if we will hold our Family Reunion in June.
-
Our daughter's wedding was planned for October - which is still six months away, but many in her intended bridal party have lost their jobs (most of them were bartenders/servers at restaurant jobs). They have decided to cancel the planned wedding and get married in a small ceremony sooner and then just have a reception of some sort at a later date.
-
I've already had at least 2 Comic cons closed down. The ones I am to go to in Aug remain to be seen...
-
i miss going to church and playing volleyball
-
My flight to Hawaii has been cancelled by the airlines. Will wait a bit to see how all this pans out before rebooking.
-

-
Our family reunion has always been held in June. We cannot know how long the stay in place order will be in effect, so we have canceled June date and rescheduled for August. Hoping to make that.
-

-
Well...I don't know what may happen as a result of this virus for the foreseeable future so it may potentially ruin my plans to go back to the Sundance Festival next year.
-
My Grandson's communion was postponed because of the virus.
-
Getting married. :(
-
I miss going to church. We planned to go a birthday party in NY or an 80 year old uncle and the family wanted to attend an NFL game in Philly. My wedding anniversary is in December so those plans may be scaled back also.
-
Covid-19 hasn't done anything for me except being careful and staying home for the most part. I had a Doctors appointment in early April. So we did a conference call. Easy peasy.
-
Well i did have a plan for a cruise and a road trip to a family members state but both have been cancelled. Pretty much a family also has been ruined can't do that. This covid stuff is killing my mojo right now
-
Summer travel is completely ruined!
After a long harsh winter, spring and summer travel is for me to enjoy!
Not this year: Many businesses are not coming back, cancel cruises and
much more. It is just a terrible year!
-
Covid19 hasn't ruined anything. The idiot who was elected into office as the President is the cause of this because he could have told people about this Pandemic back in January 2020. The Virus started elsewhere but was transported by people who had visited China et al and brought it back to North America. Then it spiraled out of control. Thousands of people have died because Trump is the biggest buffoon and moron who has been in the office.
-
Because of the virus I had to postpone my trip to my home town, my daughter's graduation, and doctor visits.
-
I love concerts, I know that must irritate you. Hopefully everyone will reschedule performances after all this mess is over.

That sucks! But I'm glad you got the insurance too, makes me think I should start doing the same. I'd planned on going to Jamaica next March but I'm putting it off to 2022 March.

I can certainly understand; my daughter had a jazz concert that I was especially looking forward to.
A lot of stuff for my kids for school has been canceled. Both of my kids are very disappointed and I am very sad for them both.
-
A convention I was going to attend in DC go cancelled and our family get together is on hold.
-
Actually not that much as I am a homebody due to health issues and I don't like getting out around people that much but today I would have liked to go out and eat with my youngest son but he will pick up food and eat here at my home which is the second best thing.
-
We have a baseball tournament at the end of July in Cooperstown, NY. It's the same week as the Derek Jeter's Hall of Fame induction. The Hall of Fame got cancelled and he'll be inducted next year. We still don't know what is going on with the tournament even though other ones in the area have all cancelled.
-
Actually covid has not ruined anything for me. But, the REACTION to covid has ruined EVERYTHING.

I was going to go to California in March but that was scrubbed. My niece that I was going with was sent to New Orleans on the strike team to help deal with the virus. She was there for a month before her time was up and went back home. Luckily she was and is safe and didn't get the virus. Although she was sent to work in the hospitals there and so many of her coworkers broke down and some even became infected.
