So it looked like 28 days after the initial infection, the macaques still had some type of immunity against the virus. Good news if you happen to be a macaque and reading this.

This is a must read, lots of medical humor and facts too.

But what if you aren’t a macaque? What if you are human? Are you similar enough to macaques whether or not you raise your tail when intimidated? Do these results apply to you?

and:

This species has a lot of similarities with humans, except for perhaps the whole eating-termites-and-beetles thing and the expose-your-genitals-when-threatened thing. Well, the latter two at least aren’t similarities with most humans.

It would be a good thing if humans would, could, or does develop immunity to the disease if they have had the virus.

What would be a good thing is if people could educate themselves and stop calling this a disease. It is not a disease. It is a virus. It is like the flu. It will be here every fall and winter.  They have already said that. It is never going to go away.  Nobody is immune from the flu.  Some people get it every year.  Some people never get it.

Septicemic plague was the least common of the three plague varieties that occurred during the Black Death from 1348 to 1350 (the other two being bubonic plague and pneumonic plague ). Like the others, septicemic plague spread from the East through trade routes on the Black Sea and down to the Mediterranean Sea . Nov 19 2019

Here is the definition for disease:

a disorder of structure or function in a human, animal, or plant, especially one that produces specific signs or symptoms or that affects a specific location and is not simply a direct result of physical injury.

So why exactly would you want people to stop calling COVID19 a disease? The Corona Virus is definitely a virus, but it causes the disease of COVID 19. And  I consider flu a disease as well. That's why we get immunizations for it.

'Splain to me your thought process on this, countrygirl12. I know you're a smart chickee.

lol  I do not consider the flu a disease. It is a virus.  A virus is not a disease.  Cancer is a disease.   I don't take the flu shot.  Never took the shot.  Never had the flu.  That is something else that irritates me.  People saying they think they have coronavirus.  ::)  Coronaviruses are any respiratory illness from a minor cold to the flu to whatever.  I just think people misuse words a lot lately.  Diseases do not just go away by themselves in a couple weeks.

The biggest problem in our country right now is the lying media. If you pay attention they all say things one way today and then the next day say the total opposite. Nobody knows what to believe and there is proof of lying. But if it goes against your agenda you don't want to believe it.   It will all be over in November so just a few more weeks.

A loving God would certainly NOT steer his creation the wrong way.

JWs have STOPPED all worldwide preaching work and meetings where the virus is deadly with large gatherings,They support social distancing and the wearing of masks where to wear them.

You can still be in wrong place at wrong time obeying the rules, but obeying the rules would help if we all obeyed the rule and help slow this down..

Being defiant only will make the situation worse and NOT remedy what we should do.Jehovah is God and supports what has been mentioned here. The key is to be wise and follow those that are obeying Jehovah.

There is "antibody" production during infection, but immunity from a vaccine derived from these is the  solution everyone is being paid billions of dollars to invent!   We have the infection, the antibodies and now the vaccine "should" be forthcoming!

Maybe Curie read the bible.

Some people are immuned, but most aren't.  The difference between the flu and the virus-the virus kills, getting the flu is hard on the body, but you get over it.

LOL  The virus does not kill.  What part of there is a 98% survival do you not understand.  People die from the flu every year too.  The "virus" is something that most people get over. You need to stop listening to the fear mongering media.  Look at the numbers on official places like your states health department page.  Get a calculator and do some math for yourself.  Look at the recoveries.  Your state may have 150,000 cases but if 149,500 have recovered you only have 500 active cases.  But the media will not report that.  They focus on the 150,000 so they can keep you scared.
