I was down to 4 from 13 ferals. They left home on their own after a big feral fought with them. Two females came back and one had 4 kittens which are almost a year old now and they hung around. A week ago, I got a surprise on my porch....4 tiny kittens. One looks like the 2 year old cats I had named Boots, one looks exactly like the the one i called Fearless and one looked just like the solid gray. The other was a plain gray tiger. The two I did socialize (Fearless and Runt) got Runt fixed but she died two weeks later. Fearless was chased off and now I can't get near him and I had him almost loving the house. But just what I don't need. I can't get near the adult cats and never could get near the last litter. This litter is the same. They run every time I move. So, I am back up to 11. Shelters are full. Stray cat groups won't help. So I'm stuck with them. I can't turn them away.

BTW, my avatar was my baby Runt. She was so loving. Even my husband liked her.

Post by: bremer51 on October 23, 2020, 05:58:16 am: Once upon a time I had a cat. Then I developed allergies. I'm allergic to cats, dogs, and horses. I've always had a pet bird and now I have two giant gold fish. Emmett the bird likes to cuddle. Gordy and Wilbur, the fish, not so much. LOL
