What did you think of the way the National Anthem was sung at the Super Bowl?
I did not watch the super bowl. Do not and will not watch or support the disrespectful nfl in any way.

I was working at the time and listening to the event on the radio.
From a musical perspective the first few notes i heard it was horrible.I turned the radio off until i thought the game would start.

I missed it, but I prefer plain vanilla by a good soloist and pass on the stylized pop singer versions.

I agree, I think an even better option is to have a marching band perform the anthem or an instrumental version - like what they do every four years when an American is on the top spot of the podium at the Olympic Games. Simple. Reverent. Uniform.

I wish they would keep the original version the way it was written :(

The last few years this song has opened up the Memorial meeting in compliance with obeying Jesus words,"keep doing this in remembrance of me"on Passover that is 3/27 this year and may be held online on Zoom.
Id rather listen to this then any showcase tune of The National Anthem.Its called "A Special Possession"and is singing about the 144,000 that will rule with Jesus in Heaven when Gods kingdom takes over as governement on earth.Jesus is referred to as The Lamb in the song and of course the line God taking out a people for his name is referring to Jehovah God.
