Title: First Robin
Post by: Nancy5 on March 11, 2021, 12:24:39 pm
I just saw my first robin of the year.  It’s hard to believe spring is here when I look outside and still see snow.  Can’t wait until it all melts

I just ordered a new hummingbird feeder, since I have seen a few and our old one leaks.

Hey, serious question here - not meant to be a crack or smart-assed - but just coming from a curiosity standpoint. Do you type your "W's" this way anytime you type - like if you were writing up a report for work or typing an email or text or filling out an online form? I just wondered because you are pretty consistent doing that here in the FC forums, but this tends to be a much less formal place when it comes to writing and ideas.

I don't know if you've been asked this elsewhere, but I don't remember seeing it if you were. In the grans scheme, it doesn't really matter, but like I said, I was just curious.

We also have robins year round here in North Carolina.  A couple of years ago it snowed and my little grandson saw a robin  outside in the snow.  He wanted to go outside and feed the bird.

VVe don't mind how he types his VV's, as long as vve can read them.

It sounds so cool to look out your window and see things like robins or bluejays. Seems like all our wildlife here is brown lol.

I feel really lucky to be in Ohio and see the wildlife pretty easily. I grew up in Los Angeles, CA and the only birds I saw when I was a kid were pigeons and seaguls every once in a while when we went to the beach.

I grew up in Los Angeles too, but my grandma (who I lived with) had an avery with over 100 Parakeets, so I saw birds every day.

I think Ohio really has the best of everything: weather, wildlife, terrain, pizza...
