I am one of the few who is still trying to make 30 posts each month and request my Forum Bonus. Most members seem to be discouraged and I can understand why but I am still hanging in there for now.

I find myself commenting on things that I really have no interest in, just to get my posts. I wish things would pick up.

i totally agree! These days i am happy if i make just one good post a day. I easily used to do 2-3 posts a day. I really :turkey: :turkey: :peace: :wave:miss that.

I only have 24 posts right now and in the past, I had already done more than 30.
This month has been another difficult month in getting 30 posts but I am doing it.
I wish the administrator would notify us about whether we will ever get Paid for Posts again. At least let us know.

I think I only have about 15 post so far. Like you I used to have way more than 30 by this point in the month.

I'm just hanging in here without doing much because there isn't much to do. I'm waiting to get my forum posting bonuses (4) and then think about what I'll do next. Things need to change if FC wants to stay in "business" or is this site just a tax write-off for the owner? I had high hopes for the site when it was supposedly taken over by a new owner. It started out great but....Dec. will be 5 months since I was able to cash out. I don't have a lot of cash so it doesn't matter to me anymore. I'm just sad that FC has gone down the drain. it was one of the best.

I am with you. I have been with FC many years and it is very sad what has happened to the site. I wish the administrator would at least tell us what it is going on especially when it comes to the Forum Bonuses.
I think that it is passive income for the administrator. No matter what, he gets some money even when not doing very much work.

Have you tried posting in the " Off Topics" thread of the forum bostonphil? I used to think these were not counted as part of our required 30 posts, but they are. There are still some interesting topics and threads there, as not much is happening with FC itself.

I have but I am of the belief that they do not count towards our 30 posts. Where did you hear that they do?

yes it is hard maybe the topic is boring or just dont have an idea or opinion. seems like a waste of time when your not sure if you get credit.

When you click paid to post, it will tell you how many eligible posts you have. Many of my past approved and paid forum bonus's would have been way under the 30 minimum if "off topic" was not included. The Debate & Discuss and Word Chains & Countdowns DO NOT count toward the 30 but those under Off Topic do. Contests and Promotions are not eligible for the 30 posts either but I don't think anyone really goes there any more.

I guess the best way at least for me is to try and use my cell phone timer or calendar and check it or have it chime to let me know to post. otherwise I have to shott myself an email as a reminder around mid month and that gets me thinking. That may or may not work but the calendar on the cell phone does.

Another easy post is under "weekly earnings" under Payments. You simply copy it from the FC report you get in your email. That is 4 or 5 posts a month right there.

Forum bonus or no forum bonus this is forum to chat on regardless. Shouldn't be all about the money when it comes to posting. If the bonus comes it will come if it don't oh well life will go on. I"ve thought about just flat out ignoring there is a bonus because honestly that's usually when those kick in for some reason when i stop caring all together. Easy way to get your forum bonus set lil reminders to do a post or two every day or every other day & you will have it in no time

I'm the same as berthabutt. In the past I would have never gotten my bonus if the off topic posts didn't count. So I'm assuming they still count, if/when we get paid.

Yes it is getting very hard to get the 30 posts each month because a lot of people are not making any new posts to comment on. I can only think of a few things to make a post on, but I do try to post some. So far I have managed to get my 30 posts each month, but not sure if it makes a difference since they are not paying us and not letting us know what is going on.
