Title: How do I use CC cleaner to clear cookies??
Post by: TJB0000 on November 13, 2009, 10:03:28 pm
I downloaded it I dont know where to place a checkmark. I put checkmarks by cookies and temporary internet files and then hit run cleaner. Am I doing it right?

Yeah, when I downloaded it, they had everything checked off for me. You don't really need it, cause most browsers will delete your cookies.

I usually clear temporary internet files, cookies, and history, for both IE and Firefox. You do as many checkmarks as you want, but these are the ones that I do. I like CC because I can clear more than one browser at once, and it seems to clear cookies more thoroughly than the tools section of the browser itself. But when I'm in a hurry I use the browser option.

Yes there are some I need that I had to set up as exclusions. Otherwise when I try to log on to sites for certain things I'd have to go back through the security screening because the site thinks it's the first time I've tried to log on from this computer. So you have to be a little careful to look at the cookies after you analyze to make sure your not deleting some you may want to stay on there.
