I got my computer fixed a while back but I have no sound. It seems like I've tried everything but maybe I'm doing something wrong. I've tried downloading the drivers but still nothing. What can I do?

I read as much as I possibly can! I mainly read African American authors though. But I also like Nora Roberts. Very good!

For my husband to go all out and be really into it this year. We haven't spent a Valentine's together in so long because he's in the military an always seems to be deployed around Valentine's day. I would like a bubble bath with rose petals and a nice dinner. Maybe a massage to go along with it. (I know the things that everyone gets but I have yet to get it) :'(

Honestly, I think Obama is doing a great job. Anyone coming in after Bush had a lot to of mess to clean up. We won't actually see the benefits of Obama until the fourth year. You can't expect things to change immediately. I honestly don't think he cares to run again though. Palin should kiss it goodbye though.  If she were to win we would all be in big trouble. She can barely control what's going on in her own household, yet alone a whole country. I have no one in mind right now as for who I would like to see in office. I guess someone who can relate to everyone from rich to poor, black to white, young and old. And personally I think we have that now.

I wish I could brag. I am just logging back in from a month ago. I probably could have already cashed out had I been participating everyday but life got in the way. So I'm still at about 23 or 24 dollars. Can't wait though.

I never believed I think someone messed it up for me but yeah I would tell my kids that he's real because children need something to believe in. Being that I didn't believe kind of messed up the joy in it for me. Like I said children always need something to believe in whether it teaches them good morals, to behave, etc.

In my opinion Obama is doing a very fine job. My husband is in the military and you can tell the affect he has had on them as well as everyone else. Of course ppl are going to dislike him but he can not mess the nation up any worse than the person before him did :thumbsup:Go Bama, Go Bama, Go

Off-Topic / Re: Anybody in a Potty Training stage right now???
« on: October 29, 2009, 11:32:36 am »Message ID: 104203
I'm looking forward to reading the replies you get. I'd like advice also! I have an 18-month-old daughter and don't know if it's too early to try to potty train her? She fidgets and pulls at her diaper when it's dirty -- so she's aware when she needs a diaper change. But I don't know if that necessarily means she's ready to be potty trained. Best of luck moms!

It is definitely not too early I started potty training my girl at 12 months and she really got the hang of it at around 15 months. Girls are generally easier being that they develop faster than boys. I have a 19 month old right now and he is getting a pretty good grasp of it. U can train a child in as little as a weekend but you have to be patient and consistent. I let them drink a WHOLE cup of juice and after fifteen minutes I ask if they have to go and no matter what the answer I take them to the pot anyway. After they have sat there for a while if they don't do anything I still encourage instead of yell. I keep asking them for the following fifteen minutes and when the finally do pot I yell and do cheers to make them feel like they have accomplished something big. Putting on padded undies helps alot because they can feel when they have urinated on themselves and realize they don't like that feeling. If you use this method make sure that u don't sit them in front of the tv after they drink their juice because they will get so caught up in it that they won't tell u or won't want to go when its time because the tv is more interesting. It was kind of hard to get my point across typing but write me back if you need clarification

« on: October 24, 2009, 10:35:26 pm »Message ID: 102595
eat alot of small meals. Keep track of all you eat, just space the calories out.  when you do that, you can still  sneak in an occasional junk food(portion) and still lose like a pound or 2 every week.  you have to keep them small though or it doesn't work.  You  will be eating every 2-3 hrs when awake.  It works though I lost 50 pounds in a year eating almost what ever I wanted as long as it was in small portions and there was pleanty of healthy food in there too.  The weight just stays off too.

I've heard that this has worked so many times. I'm thinking I might give it a try. My biggest thing is not eating too many junk foods. Thanks.
