Offers / Re: Recieved $5 in mail from a survey
« on: March 15, 2010, 10:12:04 pm »Message ID: 150326
I used to get these surveys all of the time, but they have stopped. Now I keep getting a postcard that says I have not completed the last survey sent. Every time I got one I completed it immediately and returned it the next day. I certainly hope no one stole my $5 bills! Does anyone know how to contact them? I cannot seem to find a way and I would really like to get things cleared up and start doing the surveys again. I liked the surveys and the $5!  ???

I have been gone for a while because life got in the way of my computer time. I was really ipressed with the new email feature. I signed up right away and expect to get my first email tomorrow. What a great idea! It may not be a lot of money, but I am sure it will not take a lot of our time and every cent counts in this economy! I am grateful to have found a site that actually pays and is not robbibng us of our time or money.

Offers / Re: anyone was denied to get paid for posting?
« on: March 15, 2010, 10:01:40 pm »Message ID: 150320
I have not been on in quite a while, but I have never been denied my posting bonus. I usually make well over the 30 required posts. I also never spam. Maybe you should look back at some of your previous posts to get a better idea of what was written. If you are still confused, send admin an email and maybe they can better explain their reason for denying you.

Debate & Discuss / Re: Is obesity child abuse?
« on: March 15, 2010, 09:56:24 pm »Message ID: 150317
I think childhood obesity is a problem, but I do not think ut should be treated as abuse. Sometimes the child has health conditions thatcause them to be big. Other times the parents do allow them to overeat, but abuse is taking it to the extreme. I pack a healthy lunch for my child everyday for school. I am not at the lunch table with him, so I have no idea what he is really eating. I know when he is in my home he eats his vegetables and does not get "too much" to eat, yet he is above average in weight for his age bracket. His father was very much obese until he was about 18 years old and I come from a long line of big people. My son is very active in sports and he also has a wii fit. I do not force him to exercise becasue I do not want him to develope a fat complex, but I do encouragehim to eat healthier and be active. By saying that I am abusing my child because he is chubby is redicu;ous. I pack him a turkey sandwhich, apple slices, a juice box, and grapes almost every day. If he goes to xchool and trades that for junk food, it is out of my control. I cannot do anything about things I cannot see. I do take him to his doctor regularly and have had his thyroid checked several times. His doctor says he should lose a bit of weight, but most of it will come off as he gets older. Sorry everyone, but I trust the doctor on this one. We can encourage our children to make the right choices when it comes to food, feed them heathy meals at home, and encourage exercise, but when it comes down to it, we may have a chubby child, but it is certainly not from abuse.

I speak redneck 99% f the time, so you probably hate me, but my friends understand me, so it's all good.

This is a very tough question to answer. Every child is different. Girls these days look 18 when they are 12, boys look 12 when they are 18. Our children are growing up entirely too fast if you ask me. I had "the talk" with my child when he was 7. The only reason I did was because he was asking too many questions and I knew he was hearing things at school. i did not go into full detail, but I told him enough to gross him out. We have since had several more discussions and he completely understands everything now. I encourage him to talk to me openly about anything, so I hope that before he decides to have sex for the first time he will come to me. I will not judge him, but I certainly want to make sure he has protection. Kids these days are hearing entirely too much false information at school, so I say when your child starts asking too many questions is when you should have "the talk" with them.

Debate & Discuss / Re: stay at home mom or working mom
« on: March 15, 2010, 09:31:15 pm »Message ID: 150310
This may sound terrible, but I really enjoy working. I do not work long hours, only 6 hours max per day. This allows me the freedom to earn my own money and to get out of the house. I work with the public and really enjoy the time I have away from home. When I do get home, reality once again sets in and the chaos begins lol. I do not think I would have had the same point of view 3 years ago, but as kids get older, they need their space....and have a lot more expensive taste in clothing! I certainly do not look down on working mothers or stay at home mothers. Being a full time mom is a lot of work and can be just as stressful as working a 9 to 5. Some women are cut out to be stay at home mothers, and I applaud them, however I am a working mother and intend on staying that way for a while.

Debate & Discuss / Re: Doctor Assisted Suicide, Anyone?????

I feel that we should be allowed to make the decision to end our lives if we have a medical reason to do so. I know that if I had a dibilitating disease that would prevent me from caring for myself, I certainly would not want to continue to live. I am an independant person and do not want to rely on others for my daily needs. I do not think the government should interefere in matters such as these. They should be discussed among family and a decision made. Each case is different, yet the government treats anyone wanting to end their lives through euthenasia equally and says it is illegal. There are just some matters that are too personal and the government should have no control over these situations.

Off-Topic / Re: Facebook games
« on: March 15, 2010, 09:19:20 pm »Message ID: 150307
Oh my where should I begin...lol. I play several facebook games. A friend asked me a few months back to just "join" farmville so he could have another neighbor. Now, not only am I farming daily, I am an addict! I also play mafia wars, cafe world, medical mayhem, petville, and island paradise. I think I got them all. They are certainly addicting games. I played a few aquarium games for a short bit, but they were very boring and I dropped them. I also dropped Superhero City, yoville, superpoke pets, and rollercoaster kingdom. There are just not enough hours in the day for all of the games. I didn't care for superpoke pets at all. I think it was for a very young child, I just couldn't et into it.

Off-Topic / Re: What's the last Movie you've seen..?
« on: October 23, 2009, 09:13:15 pm »Message ID: 102301
It isnt the last movie I saw, but the best movie I have seen in a while. We went to see ZombieLand. I was laughing practically the entire time! I have to say, this movie is probably not for everyone, it is rather quirky. Out of the 4 adults that went to see this movie, we all really liked it. It is certainly NOT a movie for children under about 15 or 16 though. I think children younger than that may not understand all the innuendos and undertones to the movie, but I could be wrong.

I hope we get to go see Paranormal Activities this weekend!!! I want to see it sooo bad!!

Just like Octomom the parents will have to live with their bad choices. Unfortunately, that also means the children must pay for the parents poor judgment as well, as long as they remain in the custody of those "parents." That poor boy has made himself ill at the thought of saying something wrong to incriminate his parents, what a waste of a child's youth!

Off-Topic / Re: having a hard time making money selling avon
« on: October 23, 2009, 09:00:18 pm »Message ID: 102298
i love avon unfortunately i cant find one of my favorite products in their catologe or online anymore

If you let me know what product you are looking for, I would be glad to look at my website to see if it is available for you. Every now and again products are backlogged and are temporarily removed form the brochures until current orders can be fulfilled. . I could then assist you in how you could go about purchasing it. Sometimes all products are not available in all areas, but we can burn that bridge if we get there.

Payments / Re: my first :)
« on: October 23, 2009, 08:55:27 pm »Message ID: 102297
I tried to post in the forum before but I didn't receive credit. It's kind of crazy I think I am going to try it again. Maybe I am missing a step or something we will see.

I suggest you reread the qualifications for receiving the $3 per month for posting. You have not yet met the qualifications. The reason I know this is because, at the time I am making this post, you have only made a total of 5 posts. One of the qualifications to get the bonus is that you must make a minimum of 30 posts a month to get your bonus. I think you may have mistaken this as $3 per posting...boy do I wish! If they did this they would be broke in a day, they would owe over $1300 just to me!

I have been having difficulties getting the surveys to credit for me too. I just keep trying to qualify everyday. When I qualify, I cross my fingers that the company properly reports to FC so I can earn my keep.

I have had several surveys from Opinion Institute since I signed up with them a few months ago. I got a new survey in the mail, along with my $5 bill,  just this past week. I think that I have earned $30 from them in the past few months. The survey I got the other day is another really long one though. I have started it, but have nnot yet completed it, hopefully I will this weekend.
