In 5 years I plan to be retired.  We haven't decided where we want to settle.  I want to be close to grandkids.

I have had 3 people in my family test positive with the coronavirus.
My brother-in-law had a high fever and was hospitalized.  He recovered nicely.
My daughter's significant other tested positive.  He had mild "cold" symptoms.
My son-in-law also tested positive.  He had mild cold symptoms.

I know an older woman who has cancer and double pneumonia....she is extremely sick and on a ventilator fighting for her life.

I don't mind the Covid 19 surveys.  Most of the time they are easy to do and don't take a long time to complete.  Most of the time you will get paid instead of being disqualified.

I don't mind it if I get another Covid19 survey.  A penny is a penny.

The clerks at our grocery store ask me, "Did you find everything ok?" instead of "is that it?"  Seems like a very polite question to me.  Every once in a while I may even respond that I wasn't able to find "blank" and someone usually will go get that item for me if I so choose that I still do want it.

I can't relate to this as I didn't go to parties when young....no sneaking out of the house.  I don't attend parties now a days either,(even if parties were allowed during COVID) so there is no sneaking out to go home.

I don't have any pets now that the kids are grown.  Each of my girls has a cat or two.  Cats have been the pet of choice for our family for years.

Hurray!  These two space debris crafts missed each other last night, Thursday, October 15

Some blurbs from the report I read say:

"Bullet dodged," McDowell said on Twitter. "But space debris is still a big problem."
Space collisions make clouds of dangerous high-speed debris
Nearly 130 million bits of space junk currently surround Earth, from abandoned satellites, spacecraft that broke apart, and other missions. That debris travels at roughly 10 times the speed of a bullet, which is fast enough to inflict disastrous damage to vital equipment, no matter how small the pieces.

A debris disaster could cut off our access to space
If the space-junk problem were to get extreme, a chain of collisions could spiral out of control and surround Earth in an impassable field of debris. This possibility is known as a Kessler event, after Donald J. Kessler, who worked for NASA's Johnson Space Center and calculated in a 1978 paper that it could take hundreds of years for such debris to clear up enough to make spaceflight safe again.

We have the beautiful fall colors you are talking about.  I love to see the reds, oranges, yellows, so beautiful.  The only problem with the changing of seasons is the next one is winter  :snowflake: :snowflake: and I hate winter.

I hear you there Nancy5!  I don't like winter either!  Maybe someday my husband and I will be able to spend some/part of the winter somewhere warm.  It will be a few years though.....

Thank you for a beautiful visual journey on the "train ride" we call life.  May my train ride leave a lasting memory of goodness and love to those in my family as well point them toward eternity.
