« on: November 16, 2009, 05:49:10 am »Message ID: 109908
I did this offer yesterday and did not get credit.  I created my account, uploaded my resume, even made edits to it and still no credit.

Being the geeky pseudo librarian I am, I searched on IMDB and it does appear to be Catch me if you can from 1989.  I don't recognize any of the actors listed, but in the uses comments it describes the car you described and there is mention of the drag race and the burried car.

We've almost always used a fake tree.  Between my allergies, cats climbing the tree and all those needles, we've decide the fake works best for us.  I would love to do a small real tree or at least maybe a live wreath because I do love that smell of pine.  Our fake tree alreadys has the lights on it, so it sets up so easy.  Don't have the giant ball of lights to untangle every year.

Off-Topic / Re: what type of child is easier to raise? boy or girl?

I think it depends on what day you ask me.. lol!  I have two boys (one is 14, one is 11) and a 9 year old girl.  There are days I'm not sure the 14 year old will make it to 15 and other days I can't believe how kind and thoughtful he is.... ditto for the other two.  I don't think it has to do so much with gender as much as it has to do with the termperment of the child.  I know, not useful, just what I have found to be true for me.

Offers / Re: Obama Survey

Did anyone have a problem with this survey?  I was doing all the click-thrus and then it looked like it was going to go to the next part of the survey, but then the page couldn't be found and it was just blank.  Did anyone else have this issue?

Support / Give Us Your 2cents not crediting

Ok, since Saturday, Oct. 31, I have not received credit for completing the Give Us your 2cents surveys.  Each time, I cleared my cookies and let the survey window open way past 10 minutes.  The survey I took on Saturday took almost 1/2 hour to do and no credit.  This is frustrating.  What am I doing wrong?

Off-Topic / Re: What is your favorite horror movie?

My favorite horror movie is Nightmare on Elm Street.  I have always been fascinated by Freddie Krueger as creepy as that may be.  My second favorite movie is Event Horizon.  When I saw Event Horizon way back when, it was the first movie in a long time to really scare me.  If you like spaceships, creepy acting and beyond disgusting things from hell, then you should see the movie.

Offers / Re: $188 phone bill
« on: October 30, 2009, 11:12:07 am »Message ID: 104557
I use my Magic Jack number and there is no way for anyone to charge against it. I paid $100 for 5 years unlimited long distance in US or Canada with voice mail and conference calling included.

I had been wondering about that.  Do you have to sign up for 5 years or can you do it for a less amount of time?  I see those advertisements all the time, but I wasn't sure if it was something that really worked or was just something to take your money.  How do you like the service?

Yes, FC is still giving credit for Facebook.  It may take a while to get your credit, so you just need to be patient.  It took me about 2.5 weeks to get my credit.  Hope this helps.

This is one of those offers that makes me want to scream!!  I've tried so many times that I've lost count.  I've cleared my cookies, made sure to answer all the questions, etc. and still not credit.  I have not tried in about a week, so maybe I will try again.... maybe the 30th  (LOL) time's a charm?

Off-Topic / Re: if i post a response to a topic does that count as a post towards the $3 amonth?
« on: October 30, 2009, 11:05:45 am »Message ID: 104549
so if i just go through here and find an interesting topic and i post a response i get paid for that? how many do i have to post?

You need to make 30 posts in a month and they need to be more than just one or two word posts.  From the rules:
- A contributory post is one that offers some insight, makes people laugh, carries a conversation, provides information or help, or something along those lines.  It's not spam, or an attempt to make money for oneself, and it's not short or missing content.  Basically, if you post just to meet the 30 post requirement, you wont qualify

Payments / Re: What are you spending your money on?
« on: October 30, 2009, 10:57:49 am »Message ID: 104545
I'm debating between cashing-out tomorrow to have the money in time for my son's birthday in November or waiting another month and having a little extra money for Christmas.  I'm not sure about Christmas since the payout is not until the 20th of the month and that does not leave much time for Christmas shopping... decisions, decisions...

I've had that problem before.  Not sure what the cause is.  I've had it happen even when I've cleared my cookies.  Hopefully it is working today... haven't tried it yet.
