I think its important that you wear what you want, as it is your day (and the grooms). Congradulations and good luck  :)

Taco Bell. Being a vegetarian many other fast food joints don't offer as many meat free options as Taco Bell and it's extremely affordable too. I do have quite a love for Five Guys' french fries, they are so delicious!

I will have to agree with many of those choices. I think The Goonies, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Dirty Dancing are classics.

Off-Topic / American Idol Season 9
« on: March 03, 2010, 08:42:14 am »Message ID: 144969
Are any of you watching this season? Who are some of your favorites? Who would you like to go home?

I don't have one favorite just yet but I'm liking Alex Lambert, Andrew Garcia (did not like his performance last night though) Casey James, Lee Dewyze, Didi Benami, Michelle Delamor, and Katelyn Epperly.

I feel that Tim Urbani and John Park are definately not living up to their potential at the moment.

What are your thoughts?

I'm listening to a lot of Iron & Wine lately. His lyrics are beautiful and insanely deep. There are online posts trying to figure out his lyrics and meanings. Listen to Iron & Wine's "Boy With a Coin" and "Trapeze Swinger" if you ever get a chance!  :peace:

I cannot wait to cashout, right now I'm only at $15.90 or so but highly anticipating the $25 mark. How long does it take on average to get to $25?  :dontknow:

I like to play word games, I'm not sure what its called but my favorite is facebook's version of Text Twist. If I play an educational game I feel a little less guilty about wasting my time online.

I love the begining of Fall (before it feels too much like winter). I love the colors of the leaves and being able to go outside in just a light jacket or sweater and feeling absolutely comfortable.

Off-Topic / Favorite Quote From Song/Movie/Literature
« on: March 02, 2010, 11:53:23 pm »Message ID: 144844
I have several favorites but my all time favorite is from the movie "Blow." Johnny Depp's character says,
"Life passes most people by while they're busy making grand plans for it."
I love this quote because it reminds me to live life in the moment, and know that time is precious.
What are some of your favorite quotes?

Off-Topic / Re: Is sending a child to preschool really beneficial?

If anything, preschool prepares the child to learn how to interact and socialize with other children, which I think is very beneficial.

Off-Topic / Re: WHO LOVES DOGS
« on: March 02, 2010, 11:43:55 pm »Message ID: 144840
 I LOVE DOGS  well really all animals in general but dogs really capture my heart. My dogs teach me patience, loyalty, humility, compassion, etc. I don't understand how any one could ever be cruel and unkind to animals. Please if you or anyone you know are thinking about getting a dog please know this is major commiment, godwilling up to 17 years commiment, and a lot of responsibility. It saddens me to see animals go to shelters by pet owners who can't fulfill their obligation to love and care for their pets.

Off-Topic / Re: Do we really need Daylight Savings Time?
« on: March 02, 2010, 11:35:39 pm »Message ID: 144839
I always look forward to fall's daylight savings time. The idea of gaining an hour of sleep is bliss for me as I do not get much sleep as it is. What I can't stand though is how it always seems to take forever to get adjusted to the time change, always thinking it is either later or earlier than the actual time.
