Are your kids old enough to pretty much take car of themselves with minimal supervision?  (ie, they won't draw on the walls when you're not looking, etc.)  If so, try World of Warcraft.  If you can't afford to buy the game and pay the $15 to play it, try Runescape.  Its the same general kind of game (MMORPG - Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game), but its free, and will even run from within your web browser, so you don't have to install anything!

Runescape is actually the most successful MMORPG in the world, but World of Warcraft is #2.  WoW would probably be #1 if it was free, though.

Runescape is not #1 by any standards, WoW has blown RS players out of the water, more than 10 million people play WoW, RS is probably under 500k.  I used to play Runescape, and the way skills work is unbareable, it has no progression or storyline and the graphics are terrible WoW all the way!

I love my PC for everything, but macs are by far superior in music, video, pictures, and other multimedia type applications.  I'm a heavy gamer though, so if I wanted a mac gaming computer it would cost more than double that of a gaming PC.  Macs do work well though, all the parts are built by 1 maker which means they all work together a lot more smoothly than a Windows PC.  I read in a popular mechanics magazine test, a mac computer installed with Windows booted faster than a Windows computer installed with Windows

haha, runescape . . . back in the day.  I have 4 super high accounts, you should look up "painandsufer" He's my highest and sometimes I'll hop on just to check on updates and such, but I'm currently a lot more interested in WoW.

I like the online access everywhere for the iPhone, but the price tag kills it.  I have a palm pre from sprint which has everything except a good app store and it's half the monthly price, so I'll just stick with my iPod touch
