How did you bring this on yourself?   Just curious what we can do in the future to prevent this...

The reason I said I brought this on myself is because of my lifestyle, I have high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol.  All these things i could have prevented by taken better care of myself, like eaten healthy and exercising more.

Off-Topic / Re: NFL Players kneeling for the National Anthem
« on: October 21, 2017, 04:15:25 pm »Message ID: 1174559
Colin Kaepernick started it last year when he said he won't respect the flag or this country as long as there is injustice in the country...while wearing his pig police socks.  I find it very disrespectful to all the service people who fought and died for him to be able to protest.

It's a double standard. Tim Tebow took a knee to prayer and what did they do to him? Didn't he have to pay a fine and was then canned from the team?  Double standard?

BTW, In the operations manual, the NFL states players MUST stand and show respect for the flag and the national anthem or else pay a fine and/or be benched. So why isn't the NFL following it's own rules? They pick and choose whatever rules they want.  Double Standard.

Our local newspaper asked if people stood behind the players and back the NFL and 76% stated they don't and will no longer watch the game,
and yes, it is a double standard. it's bad to do that for something good, but good to do that for  something bad. the only reason it seems to be an injustice, is because when they commit a crime they want to get away with it and not be punished. I see it happening all the time with blacks killing blacks, it's the same way with the whites, so don't give me this i'm being a racist, that's just a word you use when you can't face the facts when someone is trying to tell you the truth, so stop throwing out that race card every time things don't go your way

Has anyone watched the show Lost. I seen it has been years since it came out. This show is really good. I just do not understand the Island really or the black smoke thing. Funny how these people been there back in 1977 but then again in 2004. Hmm just really confusing. What have anyone of you gotten from this show?

Did you watch the whole series, if not you need to watch the complete series to know the what why and how come of the show

I still don't believe there is an after life, when we die we only go into the ground or are cremated

I believe America should just stay out of this and let their government take care of their own issues
