For the most  part I did, except when I had to travel for work.  I participate in a sport so working out is a bit mandatory if I want to get better at it - is a fun incentive to stay focused.

I prefer Miracle Whip - I like the tang they add to it.  Mayo is just to bland for my taste, and I'm too lazy to figure out my own spices to add.

Reminds me of that episode of The Cosby Show where Theo thought he was an adult, and the parents took everything out of his room and gave him a "salary" - they made him pay for everything - rent for his room, food from the kitchen.  Was a funny episode, but drove the point home.

It's currently 0 degrees F where I am.  Going negative tonight.  Supposed to remain in single digit highs for the next couple days.  There's been quite a wind today so I'm sure the wind chill was negative, but never checked the news to know how negative that factor was - just didn't want to hear it...

I never got the see them play/perform in person, but did see them on TV and occasionally watched the cartoon.  They always amazed me with what they could do.

I like house plants, but unfortunately they don't like me much as no matter what I do, they often die on me after owning them for a few weeks or months.  Haven't been able to keep one alive.

On the bright side, plants seem to do quite well for me outside of the house - in my yard and garden.  So I'll take that trade off.  :)

I like apricots.  Not one of my favorite fruits, but I still like it.  One of my favorite Christmas cookie recipes is a Cinnamon Apricot cookie - uses apricot jam in both the cookie and the frosting.  Yum.

Penguins - hands down.  What's not to love about penguins!  Otters come in a close second - at least the ones in our nearby zoo who believe they should be in Hollywood and frequently pose for pictures (totally hilarious).

Off-Topic / Re: The Force Awakens (Spoilers)

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.  I still get chills when I hear that opening fanfare and see the narrative scroll across the starscape.  Yeah, there were parallels, however, Star Wars: ANH is really just your basic hero story.  If you think about it, the plot really isn't that deep.

In fact during college, when I was in a ballroom club, several of us were also sci fi fans - the movie of the day was "Strictly Ballroom" and we were convinced that movie's storyline paralleled Star Wars: ANH too - the two movies couldn't be more different.  To prove their points, we watched Strictly Ballroom while people were quoting Star Wars along the way.  And they were right!  Even down to during the Death Star battle when Obi-Wan told Luke to use the force, let go, and Luke destroyed the Death Star matching up to the lead dancer hearing the grandmother saying "listen to the music, don't be scared" and he goes on to win the competition.  Was freaky.

Although, I must admit, the new "Death Star" was freaking awesome!  I have no idea how on Earth they are going to top that one...

I just caught a glimpse but haven't actually watched it - looking forward to seeing that in the theaters.  Just got to see the new Star Wars in the theater yesterday and I thought it was awesome!  Can't wait for the others.

Also saw trailers for a new Captain America that looks amazing, and that they are also bringing back the Independence Day franchise (didn't think that was possible).  Looking forward to the former, not quite sure about the later one, though...

Offers / Re: Video Carousel "can be completed up to 10x..." BUT
« on: January 02, 2016, 02:22:49 pm »Message ID: 1036930
One thing I noticed with the video carousel and other similar video offers is if the mechanism doesn't display all websites intended for the task, you won't get credit.  If you get the ones where there is a timer in the upper right corner with 3 or 4 shaded dots - the number of dots is the number of websites the task is supposed to display.  The days I didn't get credit I noticed the first dot failed to render the target website, but the other 3 surfed without issue.  I deduced the reason I didn't get credit is because the first site never verified the view.

Today they were working fine for me in the morning, but I'm noticing the last site is failing to render and I'm not getting credit for those.

I work these on other sites and the same thing is happening there as well (including lack of credit) - so the issue is probably with the service routing through the sites, or the targeted site itself.  Either way it's not a FC issue - just one of those things you become aware of and if you notice it's not working to move on to something else and try again another day.

I had a good normal Tuesday yesterday.  I typically don't do anything special for St. Patty's day.

I wouldn't mind if summer held back for a few weeks to give us a nice Spring - mainly keep things below freezing at night and above freezing during the day for a few weeks so I can gather some sweet sap from my maple tree.  Been either too cold or too warm for the sap to flow this season...

I've heard of kickstarter but have never used it myself.  I have occasionally browsed the site to see what projects people are trying to fund.  There are some interesting ones out there.

I've been using yoga once a month to help with my hip rotator rehab/re-education.  I've learned some very useful techniques in how to retrain my body to work in a better and stronger pattern and to train myself with better balance techniques which has translated to my skating training.
