Off-Topic / Re: How do people live?
« on: April 22, 2013, 07:15:56 am »Message ID: 724541
I must say I live in a small town in Texas and we're begging people to come work out here. We need people! Our newspaper posts about 30 jobs a day and a neighboring town posts over 150 jobs daily for all experience levels. Our job market is insane. Companies are trying to steal people from other companies because we don't have enough people. One example is McDonalds is paying $14 hourly straight off the bat in order to compete. Please, if you need a job or two Come to West Texas!

Cool. I'm glad yall are enjoying the random facts. My Dad always called me a "fountain of useless information" I have sense lived up to that nickname. How about this one... The Ice Cream cone was invented in the summer of 1904 by Charles Menches. It made its debut one year later at the St. Louis World Fair

I saw that too. It's awesome what some people's talents are. I guess you just need to find a way to use them.

I think this year will be better than last. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for our personal financial problems and my son is getting more fun by the day. I have a wonderful husband to look into the new year with and I just feel optimistic about what's to come. It'll be good.

I would also suggest Etsy. I have a few friends who sell their stuff on there and they do pretty well.

I know, it's rediculous! I'm still in the after-effects of Christmas and New Years and already stores want me to be ready for Valentines day and Easter. Seriously?! Can people not worry about holidays constantly and just live a normal day to day life?

Probably a Honda over a Harley. Although I'm not too sure about the newer Harley's since they fixed the overheating problem.

I've had 3 real boyfriends and the last one I married. However, in my younger days I did date quite a bit.

I'm not shocked. These days pretty much anything goes for enough money. We think that here in America that stuff can't happen because we have equality with men however, that just makes us more of a prize if the men can get us into it. I'm just saying.

It'd be a toss up between my Grandma Preston's Tea Cakes and my wonderful King Ranch Casserole

Canned is better for you but depending on the restuarant I'd say I like Fast food better.

Yes this is true. This is why we are all technically kin of Jesus. So as Christians we are not only the children of God we are also Jesus' family. It adds to the reality of why Jesus was made a human man, so we could relate and help understand God's Glory. I hope I am making sense to you.

I don't know if that's true or not but it'd be interesting to find out.
