Debate & Discuss / Re: Which political part has the answer to our economic woes?
« on: May 12, 2011, 12:18:55 pm »Message ID: 352754
If you look at one party you are looking at the other.  They are one and the same.  Their aim is to be in power.  Serving the people is last on their minds and agendas.  If you are a multi-billionaire corporation or industry, then you run both parties.  Follow the money...FDA, EPA, Big Pharma, Health INDUSTRY, all have highly paid lobbyist who influence policy...that's who runs this country.  The object is to keep the people confused and fighting each other over which party is the best.  All the while they are robbing us blind and we continue to allow it by fighting each other.  We need to create our own economy by working and helping each other.  No one, especially the government, is looking out for us.

Debate & Discuss / Re: Newt's In. Your Thoughts?
« on: May 12, 2011, 11:50:56 am »Message ID: 352744
Now that's a scary thought.  Even the name "Newt" makes me cringe.  It sounds like something creepy-crawly.  And with all his experience it will be business as usual.  We need new blood with better ideas.

Off-Topic / Re: Obama's approval hits two year high!
« on: May 12, 2011, 11:47:17 am »Message ID: 352742
People have a short memory.  Bush's approval rating was sky high when Saddam Hussein was captured, but he lost the election the following year.

Wow, you beat me to the punch on that on sqa.  I couldn't have said it better.  Gee, I wonder how high my rating would go if I went out and murdered someone?  People can't hold a thought process longer than it takes to go to commercial, then come back with a different view point.  Have we forgotten about the birth certificate debacle?

Off-Topic / Re: How do you feel about murder of Bin Ladden
« on: May 12, 2011, 11:27:29 am »Message ID: 352734
I call it murder, plain and simple.  There should have been a trial involved.  That said, this will not bring about peace.  Killing only begets more killing, not peace.  All I see in the future as long as we keep this path, and those who oppose the US keep this path, is more bloodshed.

I absolutely agree with you.  This was out and out murder.  We should have captured him and put him on trial.  We all know that he would have been found guilty and killed anyway.  But think of all the information we could have gotten but now never will.  Violence only brings more violence.  America used to be a place where anyone could find "justice".  I understand that bin Laden was responsible for a lot of lives lost, but if we start acting like other countries who kill first then ask questions, then what does that make us?

Off-Topic / Re: Why are there, so many baby dadies, out of the home....

The problem is that children are no longer taught responsibility. They are not taught to be a man or lady.  They are just thrown into the world to survive.  They receive their teaching from the television and the media.  As parents, we are not raising our kids.  We allow input from the schools and everywhere else, but from US.  How can we expect them to survive when they are made to pattern their lives after what they see the most?

FusionCash / Re: Daily Email

Is it because of this modification that I cannot sign up for the daily e-mail?  I was receiving it each day, then was inactive for about a month and stopped receiving them.  I tried to sign up yesterday and it said FC is not accepting any new sign ups.  Does anyone have an answer?

Off-Topic / Re: Do we REALLY eat spiders when we sleep?
« on: May 12, 2011, 11:04:58 am »Message ID: 352720
That sounds so absolutely disgusting!   :o  But I'm sure we have had many little critters land in our mouths while sleeping.  You never know what is creeping around your bed, no matter how clean you are.  Spiders particularly--- they come out early spring in wooded areas, and they will get in your house.  But still - the thought! EEch! Just drink a glass of water when you get up each day, wash it all down.  Do spiders have any protein in them???  :P

Suggestions / Re: SUGGESTION ABOUT EXPIRED CREDITS
« on: May 12, 2011, 10:57:49 am »Message ID: 352717
If I am not mistaken, I believe I read that you have 180 days of no activity before FC will expire your credits.  It seems pretty fair to me.  If you are not actively using the account, they probably think you are not coming back after 6 months.  I have been inactive for a month due to a project I am working on, but I knew that if I didn't do a little something at least, I might lose what I earned.  I think what FC is doing is fair since they have to monitor these accounts.  But, that's me. :D

I watched American Idol the first couple of years then got bored and stopped watching until the last few shows  This year there are some awesome singers.  I don't do the vote thingy, but I have enjoyed the voices this year.  Not too sure about the reality of it all, but at least it entertains.
