Off-Topic / Working through Grad school?
« on: September 29, 2011, 12:33:46 pm »Message ID: 424046
I'm in grad school now, on my last year. In order to fulfill my full-time internship requirement I had to quit my job this year. I so miss having that regular flow of cash! Anybody else going through this or had this experience in the past?

A long warm shower usually works for me, putting earphones in and turning up music also does wonders.

I'd say have a little fun with it. Start checking that girl out too, remarking on how hot she is! You'll either a. turn him on and get him back to focusing on you and what're you saying or b. confuse the hell out of him. Win/win, I say. lol

Ugh. Liars are the worst.
I'm a very trusting person so when someone takes advantage of that and blatantly lies to me, it really hurts.
I can't trust that person again. I keep my distance.

I like the game. I play on my android phone.
Some of the levels are sooo challenging but I can't stop attempting them over and over.  :)

What kind of gifts do you give your dad on Father's Day?
...And if you're a dad, what kind of gifts do you get?

Off-Topic / Re: nagging mom

As a child of a mom who often nags me (though she prefers it not to be called that lol) I would say, try to give your kid/kids a little room to make their own mistakes. Unless it's something dangerous or important you're trying to get through to them about. Though I understand that my mom's nagging comes from a good place a lot of the time it just makes me frustrated and half of the time I was planning to do what she nagged me to do before she even nagged me about it. It's not fun to feel like you're being babied (as I'm sure it's not fun to feel like a nag on your end  ;)).

Just know when to pick your battles. If the kid/kids' room is a mess and they couldn't care less about cleaning it, fine. let it get dirty, hopefully they'll get tired of living in their filth and do something about it. If it's something of real importance, then just make it a point to bring it up to them once or twice maybe. Just so they know you're concerned, but don't try to force the issue, it could do more harm than good.

Good luck.

Can you open a new tab in your browser?
Keep the fusioncash account page open in a separate tab or even a separate window if that's simpler, so you don't lose it.

Hey,

I haven't reached the 100 mark yet, obviously but I'm working on it
I think the  best thing you can do is sign in every day and do the daily offers.
I make the most from qualifying and completing the daily surveys (e.g., Samplicious, SSI Daily Survey, etc).
Just be persistent and keep checking for new offers that you feel comfortable signing up for (for me, those are ones where I don't have to give a phone # or personal info like that)
Good luck! ;D
Keep working at it!

In addition to looking at the nutrition labels, try to be aware of how many calories you're taking in. Keep a journal or use a calorie counting app or website to help you keep track. A little exercise plus a little calorie cutting goes a long way.

I prefer the pool. I'm afraid of what creatures could be swimming around me in the ocean.  ;D
