Debate & Discuss / Re: How do you feel about oral sex?
« on: April 02, 2012, 02:09:31 pm »Message ID: 514578
If you ask a guy if he likes oral sex the response is undoubtedly going to be yes. Ladies on the other hand may not feel the same way. I think it all depends on the experience they have had in the past.

Off-Topic / Re: Relationships a lot of work?

At first I thought you meant romantic relationships, to which I would have said I do not feel like romantic relationships should be work. I mean I feel like you are either in love or not and there should not be much work to falling in love. However, after I read your post I kind of have to say yes. I have one friend besides my boyfriend and that is my sister. Everyone else seems too preoccupied with their own goings on and could careless about my life. I know how you feel, I have an extremely busy schedule and this makes it close to impossible to cultivate real relationships outside of my family.

Oh I def want to travel by car.  I also want to be the driver.  I guess its a control thing.  I love to travel and I like to see the sights
along the way.  Sometimes I want to hurry and not stop...so you see I have to be the one to drive.  It's also nice if there is another
driver along for the trip in case I decide I want to rest, lol.
lol sounds like me! I have never traveled by train or plane but I don't mind driving too much expect for long trips.

Debate & Discuss / Re: When will americans say enough is enough
« on: March 25, 2012, 07:10:53 pm »Message ID: 510206
When will the American people say to our elected government that enough over seas spending is enough. How many of us are willing to write our elected officials or call their office and say enough is enough. If every voter would do this they would have to stop the spending.
When my ex was in the navy and I could not get a straight answer from the chain of command that I was suppose to go through I called the pentagon and got results from my inquiries. Some times it is better to start at the top and work out way down the ladder. If enough Americans would start questioning their elected officials  things would start changing especially in an election year.
Good question. I think Americans are too busy and too distracted to care about what is really happening around them. I know of people in my personal life that have complete trust in the government or have major apathy about changing things for the good. While I have faith in our justice system, I feel that it is corrupted along with our political structure. The two party system is just theater for us to feel like we have a say in who makes the rules we are required to live by. I suppose the question is what can we do to change the way things are. Any ideas?

Live in Arkansas, have for four years. I moved from Missouri and was born in Colorado. Arkansas surprised me with its beauty, but I have to say there are some of the most *bleep*-backwards laws here, and the people aren't too bright. Most likely will be moving within the next two years. Looking at Texas or possibly back to Missouri.

I have never gotten a potted plant as a gift. My boyfriend always gets me flowers with an expensive vase, but I think it would be nice to get a potted plant. However, I have never grown any real plants I really want to get into gardening but I rent a house so it makes it more difficult. Any tips?

Debate & Discuss / Re: Politicians
« on: March 19, 2012, 05:44:24 pm »Message ID: 507576
Out of all the politicians I have observed over the years, I do believe Ron Paul is one such politician.

I would have to agree with you! Btw I'm pretty sure the media has decided that he is no longer in the race since they are completely ignoring his campaign.
On a side note, I do not think that our government or political system is set up to involve honest, hardworking Americans. It is set up to benefit the elite, those who have an agenda that has little to do with what is good for the country. This being said, the electoral college chooses who the president is.

Debate & Discuss / Re: Goverment

Do you think President Obama should be voted in fo office again for the next three consecutive years? Yes  or No and why?

Should he be voted in to office, well that question cannot be answered without first considering who really votes the president in and how little difference it really makes when a new president is elected. I personally would love to see Ron Paul as the president but I know that will not happen because 'they' simply will not allow it. To answer your question, it doesn't matter but the American public should see what kind of 'change' they will get from him.

Debate & Discuss / Re: Getting out of a mobile home when it comes a Tornado.
« on: March 10, 2012, 10:29:28 am »Message ID: 503239
Mobile homes are one of the worst, if not THE worst structures to be in during a tornado. They have no grounding or foundation and are easily picked up by the strong winds of a tornado. It really is a better idea to lay in a ditch outside of the trailer than inside it.

Debate & Discuss / Re: Sandra Fluke Testimony
« on: March 10, 2012, 10:09:04 am »Message ID: 503224
I see both sides of the issue presented by Ms. Fluke. While I believe if *bleep* is covered through some medical insurance then why shouldn't birth control be, I also see the point that the government should have little say when it comes to private insurance companies. I think this is the real issue that is being missed. We are getting more and more government in our private lives and it is doing nothing but taking our rights away.  :dontknow:

Ok so I'm relatively new on here and I was wondering about a couple of things. 1. How do you get paid to post. and 2. How can you see how many posts you have made in the current month. I would like to take advantage of the paid to post part of Fusion but I am not sure if I have to post on the main forum or if I can post in the debate and discuss forums and still get paid. Thanks for any help guys!

Debate & Discuss / Re: Drug Testing for Government benefits?
« on: February 20, 2012, 04:08:42 pm »Message ID: 493383
My real concern about this is that it almost specifically targets marijuana and eliminates other drugs that are far more serious. It also eliminates legal drugs such as alcohol and prescription drugs. Both of these can impair individuals far more than marijuana use. Also, I thought there was an excellent point made from another member about medical marijuana usage. I think before this type of testing is done that it needs to be more broad in it's application or not done at all.
I agree with you here. I think many people forget that even legal prescription drugs can be and are abused. These drugs are very harmful and can be deadly in certain cases. I think all of this has to come into play. However, my brother-in-law is subject to random drug tests at his place of employment that even test for prescription drugs that he does not have a prescription for. So maybe this will be part of the screening process for governmental assistance.
