Off-Topic / Re: What is your favorite places to shop for grocery?
« on: March 31, 2012, 08:27:02 am »Message ID: 513116
My preferred place to shop is at King Soopers. It is part of the Kroger chains/operated by Kroger brands. I think they have some really great deals, and feel their base prices are cheaper than Safeway, and when they have sales they are better sale prices than Safeway. But sometimes we do shop at Safeway because there is one close and that can be more convenient.

I do not like to go to Wal Mart. Just because it is too stressful and not worth it. There are always so many people there, even if you go on a weekday when you think it would not be busy. Because of that, people are usually in the way of what you need, and I find sometimes rude. Plus the lines are so much longer. So for that reason, I do not mind paying a little extra to have less stress, and a more quiet shopping trip.

I am certain I know what show you are talking about, I think most of us do  ;). I do like to clip coupons and save money. After the economy turned I had to go from having a full-time, well paying job, to working 30 hours a week and moving in with my parents. I do enjoy clipping coupons and saving money. I just do not have the time to spend that these people do to clip coupons and prepare for shopping trips. With working 30 hours, and then meeting up with friends, and doing other things. I just clip coupons and look at websites that give me match-ups when I can. Some weeks I do it, some weeks I do not. Luckily, we only get one Sunday paper, so I am not going to have 20 of the same coupons.

At work we match up with a foundation that helps battered women and their children for Christmas. So it was an amazing feeling to be able to donate things I had been able to save on or gotten for free to help them out. This past week there were some coupons to get some toys on sale, so I got some and look forward to being able to help out again this coming christmas!

Off-Topic / Re: Gas Prices Where You Are??

Yes, gas went up .10 over night from the place I drive by, but do not normally get gas. If I lived close enough to work, I would walk or ride my bike. I love doing out door things and this would be nice. But since I live 20 miles from work, and in colorado (lots of hills to get there) that is not going to happen. I just remember back around Christmas time when gas was under three dollars, man that was certainly nice and I miss that!!!

Off-Topic / Re: Todays Mega Millions Lotto - biggest EVER

I have not bought a lottery ticket, but for this thought "why not". I didn't even come close!! I only got two numbers and they were on separate tickets, lol. But my brother got three of the numbers and that worked out really well for him. I looked at the odds also and heard on the radio you are more likely to DIE in a car accident driving out to buy the lottery ticket than you are likely to win. Unfortunately, I did not win, but I am happy I did not die while buying the ticket.

I read this morning there are three people who won, so congratulations to them. I bet their heads are still spinning right now!!!

Off-Topic / Re: Amazon vs. Overstock vs. Ebay which do you use?
« on: March 31, 2012, 08:07:40 am »Message ID: 513109
I did have an Amazon Prime membership for a while. I think they give you a month or two month trial for free. It worked out great because I was looking for something very specific for a gift for a friend who was having a baby girl. They had something that worked out well, but I had waited so long it was so close to the baby shower. I signed up for the Prime and got my shipping within three or four days. It took a little longer than expected, but it still arrived in time. I also ordered some other things while I had my trial membership, but they did not arrive with in the two days, they took a little bit longer than that too.

So it was nice because the shipping did come sooner than most, but it was not the advertised two day shipping. Plus I could not afford the $80 a year, especially since I do not buy enough from amazon to make it worth while. But I can see if people shop a lot from Amazon how it could be beneficial.

I have never tried Overstock.com. I have looked at  their website only a few times and find that it really never has what I need or what I am looking for. As far as E-bay and Amazon it really depends what I am looking for and looking to buy for which one I am going to use. Of course I am going to use Amazon for books, they have lower prices on books and I like to buy Calendars from them too. They have their really good deal on shipping too, so if you spend over $25 you are going to get free shipping, so that is really nice.

For random other things I usually use E-bay and I like to do the "Buy it Now" option, just because I do not like bidding and sometimes am not around when the auction ends. I have used E-bay to buy cases and covers for my cell phones, also screen protectors. I have also used it to buy brand new make up that is still sealed and a lot of belly button rings that I split with my friend.

So for me it usually just depends. Also which ever has the best price, with the best ratings!!!

Off-Topic / Re: favorite ice cream
« on: March 29, 2012, 08:27:35 pm »Message ID: 512367
This is a hard one to answer because there are a lot of different flavors of Ice cream that I enjoy. However, I always like plain vanilla ice cream, it is so yummy and you can dress it up with any thing and it will still taste good. Like fresh berries, caramel sauce, berry sauce.

However, If I had to pick a non plain flavor would be Choc. Chip cookie dough. I like the Haagen Dasz kind, because I think the cookie dough in that kind is the best.

I have an ice cream maker at home and have made some of these fun flavors: Cherry Pineapple, Lemon Lime, Nutella Ice Cream, and Black Berry ice cream.

I am getting closer to my first pay out. I just have been lazy the past two weeks and slacking, so I have not been doing many tasks to earn much money lately. But it is slow and steady, so that is always good.

What is nice to read, is the fact that other people say they have tried other sites and prefer this one. I have thought about trying other sites to do in addition to F.C. But I have not, and if I do not always make time for FC, I probably wouldn't have time for another site. But just to read that other people have tried other sites and they do not like it as much, helps me to keep my decision to just stay here and not even  bothering to waste my time elsewhere.

Support / Re: Qualified for Surveys??
« on: March 29, 2012, 08:20:06 pm »Message ID: 512364
I took a survey from my sample reached the congrats page and fusion cash never paid me.

I sent in a support ticket but have gotten no reply

Yeah, I did that a while ago. I was able to take the full survey and even made it to the final "congratulations" page, and the thank you for completing the survey page. However, I did not receive credit for taking that survey. So I sent in a survey support ticket, at the beginning of February and never heard anything back which was really frustrating. I am happy though I can rely on the daily offers and daily e-mails and tasks, and slowly start earning money that way. That is better than nothing!!

I would like to think there is going to be some relief soon, and that gas prices might go down. I would even be happy if they stayed stable instead of going up. However, I feel with summer coming around and so many people going on vacation and road trips, that prices are going to be rising again for that season. I guess this leads to the fact that less people will be travelling this summer and staying closer to home. I am wondering what tourist season will look like around here (I would be happy with less people on the roads).

It has been getting nicer weather outside lately. So if I am not too tired when I get home, and have enough energy, I will go outside and do some yard work or something outside like a walk so I can enjoy the nice weather that we have been having lately!!

I have to wear nicer clothes to work, and some are comfortable. However, I love coming home, taking a shower and putting comfy clothes on. Nothing beats a pair of stretchy pants and a baggy t-shirt!!! It is nice to just relax and unwind. The next thing I usually do is find something to eat and snack until dinner time!! LOL

Like I said, I love the pace you can go at and set for yourself. I have been so busy at work, and so exhausted when I come home at night, too tired to even check my fusion cash e-mails or the paid to click. But I was able to come on again tonight, and pick up right where I left off. Granted, I had a lot of Forum posts to catch up on, and check out, and try to read through all the responses to the topics that I had originally posted on. However, it was so fantastic, because it isn't like I missed a beat or anything. Just did the daily routine and picked right back up where I left off!!!
