Off-Topic / Re: Why don't people use their turn signal while driving
« on: November 29, 2012, 02:01:54 pm »Message ID: 648832
I get so frustrated as well when people don't use their signals and cut me off!  :BangHead:. It bothers me how people like that are driving in the streets. Most of them have gotten their driver's license so why can't they drive like they did to receive it? They are hazards to the road. It is pretty annoying to see them not being courteous.

I used to really love hostess snacks back in the day!  ;D They are really sweet and delicious. I didn't even know that they were going out of business until you mentioned it. I find that the snacks are less appealing to me nowadays because of their nutrition value. I tend to watch my diet more nowadays. I don't think they should go out of business.

Debate & Discuss / Re: Why is lighter skin accepted more than dark skin?
« on: November 29, 2012, 01:41:35 pm »Message ID: 648808
I don't know what you mean by accepted more. It is how it used to be in the past. Nowadays, what I can see is that people prefer lighter individuals in the terms of physical attractiveness. I think that it is more on how elegant, peaceful, soft, and innocent skin on a woman looks depends on skin tone. Also, darker colors have always been a negative symbolism.

Off-Topic / Re: Thanks giving day without turkey
« on: November 29, 2012, 01:38:27 pm »Message ID: 648806
I don't turkey is required or anything it's just something that many include in a Thanksgiving dinner. i believe that the important part of the holiday is to be among your family, friends, and loved ones. It is a friendly gathering of close people. I personally enjoy other food at parties and dinners rather than the turkey.  :)

Off-Topic / Re: real or artificial?

I like artificial Christmas trees a lot better because it is less of a mess. Real Christmas trees leave such a mess everywhere you put them. Also, you can reuse that tree over and over again unless it breaks somehow. Artificial trees also are easier to hang ornaments. I would find that my ornaments would fall off easier on a Christmas tree.

Off-Topic / Re: Enjoying our HULU !

Oh man I love HULU as well! I love how it is free. I feel like the internet is going to take over cable services because once you have internet, you can watch almost anything via stream or download. I actually don't watch television as much anymore because I can choose what i want to watch on the computer.  :angel12:

Off-Topic / Re: Traffic Exchanges

I feel that traffic exchanges aren't worth it when it comes to advertising. Think about it. When you are earning credits while surfing, are you really focused on their ads, or are you just trying to get things over with to get the credits? In my opinion, splash pages are a good idea for them. Even if the services are free, time is money. Think about what can be done in that time. Also, if anything make sure that the TE pays you to surf.  ;D

Off-Topic / Re: Are you going to buy something for yourself this Xmas....

Unfortunately, I won't be having enough money to spend for myself. I plan to purchase presents for my whole family, friends, and significant other. All of those presents accumulated would certainly be a lot of money. I don't think I'll have a spare for myself. Besides, I am going to get presents from others already.  :)

Off-Topic / Re: Shoe size
« on: November 27, 2012, 03:11:23 pm »Message ID: 647732
My shoe size always varies with shoes. I am generally sizes ranging from 9.5 to 11. I find that basketball shoes like Nike, Adidas, and Reeboks run big on me so I have to pick higher sizes. Casual type of shoes run around 10.5. When it comes to fitted dress shoes, I can go all the way down to 9.5. It is weird how sizes vary like that.

Off-Topic / Re: What movies have you seen lately, whether at theaters, online, dvds, etc.?

I just saw Twilight Breaking Dawn part 2 with my girlfriend last weekend. I thought it was pretty interesting. I'm no die hard fan of Twilight whatsoever but it was still enjoying to watch. Out of all of the Twilight movies, this one was the best because it had much more action. I find action essential in any movie  ;D.

Off-Topic / Re: Turkey left overs

Whenever I go to families Thanksgiving dinners, I take a whole bunch of to go! They always insist that I take a whole bunch because they need to get rid of it as well. There is so much food during Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for all of that delicious food. The to gos I get sometimes last a whole week. It still tastes great too.

I didn't even buy anything for Black Friday either. It seemed as if people were going crazy and lining up really early for deals that aren't even dirt cheap. It seemed as if the prices of things were on par with the sales from Christmas. I think people might as well wait because Christmas sales are done in multiple days and not just one.

Off-Topic / Re: Have you ever found something really valuable?

You sure found some great finds! I can't really compare to your finds in value. The best thing I have found was a textbook. It was in good condition and had no name. The professors and staff of the school told me that they probably couldn't do much to find the owner. I decided to sell it and receive a decent 80 bucks from it.

Debate & Discuss / Re: School Uniforms
« on: November 24, 2012, 06:38:52 pm »Message ID: 646285
School uniforms is a controversial issue for me. It is good because people won't have to worry about what to wear since they have set clothing everyday. There would be less judging on who has good clothing. It sucks because I don't think students should be obligated to wear such things. If a girl wants to look fashionable, then I say let her. It will make her confidence go up.

Debate & Discuss / Re: Star Wars vs. Star Trek
« on: November 24, 2012, 06:37:10 pm »Message ID: 646283
Both franchises are great! I feel that Star Wars is more enjoyable for all ages as well. Children and Adults can enjoy it. I remember when I first watched Star Wars I loved it. It made me get into jedi type of things. I even bought one of those light up light sabers. The Star Wars franchise also has various archetypes shown in their movies which is great.  ;D
