Off-Topic / Re: Grocery prices
« on: July 20, 2012, 09:06:00 am »Message ID: 574146
I have recently discovered the "Sunflower" store whose motto is: "serious food...silly prices". Their meat and veggies are really very cheap and good quality!

Sunflower is great.  Are you from Colorado by chance?  there is a store called sprouts that is pretty much the same--an awesome year round farmers market.  in fact, sprouts will be merging with sunflower and all sunflowers will turn into sprouts.  I shop there mainly for veggies and fruits.  i can get a ton of stuff for the week(for a family of 3 going on 4) for $15-$20 and then get a few other items (bread, pasta, meat, etc) from stores like safeway (they have a great coupon policy).

Ummmm....
did you by any chance accidentally post this in the wrong thread? This thread's topic IS "Good Morning...?", but obviously the discussion is about the terrible shooting tragedy that happened last night in Aurora, CO.

probably, but he/she is new.  it happens!

I do.  I have what's called Hashimoto's disease.  Are you Hypo or Hyper?  Mine is a type of Hypo, so it's hard to keep weight down and consistent.  It jumps all over the place.  First of all, if you're not, go see an endocrinologist.  they have the best info on this disease (as compared to just a general physician).  Get your blood tested every few months for the first year (or even more frequently if you're on medication and don't feel any different.  you need a higher dose).  Also, take your medication EXACTLY the way you are told.  With mine, I have to take it first thing in the morning with a HUGE glass of water, can't eat for an hour, and can't take any vitamin supplements for 4 hours.

Research foods that are bad for your thyroid ...like anything soy...or broccoli.

other than that, I find that just going for a 30min walk (not a shuffling pace, move that booty!) really helps to keep my weight from bouncing up and down.

While I understand what you're saying, I really don't think this should be taken as a gun issue.  I think we should look at what is going on with mental health, and what would drive someone to do something like this.  It's incredibly sad and, frankly, as a resident of aurora, I am scared.

I live in Aurora where the massacre happened...just 4 miles from the movie theatre.  I can't believe how crazy this town can get.  For all of the wonderful things this state has to offer (i just moved here 6 months ago and love it), there's also the bad.  I'm hoping everyone will be able to heal quickly, but this has sure shaken everyone up.

You should also visit your profile (link in menu) and set your notifications to get an email if a discussion you are involved in gets another comment. Don't worry, in the email is a link so you can turn one off if it gets out of hand.

Another great tip!  I didn't know that but it would be incredibly helpful.  Thanks!

I just wanted to let you know that you are asking great questions!  I couldn't figure out the whole posting thing for some reason at first either.  Don't feel like you're the only one!  All of us newbies have the same issues.  If you haven't yet, try replying to my (or anyone else's) response to you just as a test.  Good luck!

FusionCash / Re: Need help on doing Paid to click ...
« on: July 20, 2012, 07:09:14 am »Message ID: 574096
i think that you're just a little confused!  A referral is someone that joins because they heard about Fusion Cash from you and were interested.  Once they join, you start getting a bonus based off of what they do.  If you "added" OldBuddy as a referral, you will not get bonuses for what he does, he will get bonuses for what YOU do.  He was already a member to start with.

As far as adding your own banner and how the paid to click works, have you seen the video tutorials yet?  They are SO helpful and take you through everything step by step.  Watch them a couple of times and your questions should be answered.  The are located on the homepage of F/C.  There's a big, blue bar that says," watch tutorial video."

good luck
:)

Posting includes both starting new topics and replying to what someone else said!  I love starting new topics when I have questions, but when nothing is coming to mind, I like to visit the forum and see if I can help.  I figure I'me being paid...might as well help a few people out along the way!

Sometimes I get really frustrated with the surveys because all of their quotas are full and I don't qualify.  Now, I just try to do 1/day.  That way I don't feel like all I'm doing is being turned down.  Maybe switch to doing that for a while?

Good luck!!

I agree with you.  Trying only one survey site a day reduces the frustration level.

By the way, pink is a very hard color to read.  Try a darker color for better contrast and readability.

I know!  I just saw what it actually looked like today.  I thought it would be more of a magenta/dark pink.  weird.  definitely switching.

FusionCash / Re: Fusion Cash Search Bar Problems...??
« on: July 16, 2012, 03:05:35 pm »Message ID: 572399
80014 is likely their zip code.

In order to get the bonus for searching, you should use the search bar for your usual day-to-day searching.  If you do "research sessions" or exhibit other out-of-the-ordinary search patterns, you wont qualify.

Weird.  Yeah, "80014" is my zipcode.  I check the weather every morning, so I didn't think that was out of my normal routine.  After hitting enter, I did get the results I wanted, and I clicked on the link to see what the forecast was...but still, not a valid search.

Anyways, just an update:  the searching seems to be working now.  I'm still not sure what the problem was initially, but it's working now.  Thanks for the help and suggestions!

Payments / what happens if i don't cash out at the end of the month?
« on: July 15, 2012, 09:18:56 pm »Message ID: 572087
if i don't have enough money to cash out at the end of the month, do i lose that money and have to start over with the new month, or does the money just "roll over" to the next month...?
