Debate & Discuss / Re: Food stamps for fast food
« on: September 07, 2012, 01:21:56 pm »Message ID: 601095
I read an article today that said in some states, food stamps can be used at places like KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and they are lobbying to allow this in more states.  They idea behind it is to allow those who are homeless or not able to cook a meal a place to get hot food instead of buying chips and candy bars.

What do you all think about this?

I most certainly will veto this if it goes up for referendum in my state. The United States is already belittled for the number of overweight citizens we have and allowing the use of food stamps in this way can only contribute to our lowering from our position as the top superpower.

Word Chains & Countdowns / Re: How much you need to get your first cash out?
« on: September 07, 2012, 01:18:31 pm »Message ID: 601090
By the sway, this topic is posted in the wrong forum.  It should be in the cashing out section or something similar.  THis is in the word chains and countdowns.

I find it funny that no one, not even myself, managed to notice that.

--How quickly do most of you cash out though because I still haven't done it once :(

I'm sorry, this may sound rude but did you really use "no" instead of "know"? I hope it was because there wasn't enough room... But nope, I don't personally know anybody who is homeless.

I'm not allowed to post links but I have an app on my phone to calculate my caloric intake as well as how many calories I burn from exercising and I think knowing how much you really eat helps you stay healthy in the long run. Both apps that I've tried have full websites with forums and whatnot, one is called my fat secret and the other is my fitness pal. I also found that I love yoga and belly dancing so having activities you love really helps too! Good luck in your endeavours!!

I think that one should only ever get a tattoo if it's meaningful rather than merely for the fun of it or simply to have a tattoo.

Debate & Discuss / Re: Should married men be allowed to keep their adult film collection?

If she should consider that she needs to be more sexually adventurous then he should consider how inadequate it must make his wife feel that despite their marriage, he still needs those videos. He has a wife and she's there for a reason, he shouldn't need to see or get off to anyone but her since that's the LIFE commitment he made to her. You can't argue only one side in these things. P.S. If you talked correctly, maybe your argument would hold some validity.

Off-Topic / Re: This is what I got on surveys on Inboxdollars
« on: August 28, 2012, 06:23:05 pm »Message ID: 595311
From the limited information contained in the specious rant below, you're complaining that your demographics rarely qualify you for surveys and you blame the survey providers, (who are the ones paying and deciding what demographic slices they are paying for).  This is not a reasonable position and therefore, is an irrational one.  The simple solution for the impatiently illogical is to cease attempting surveys.

I did remove part of my email address. This is in refereence to the surveys. I intend to complain on every site I belong to until they change something. Enough is enough.

Alan: Hi
brenda : hi
Alan: How may I help you ?
brenda: I am not only asking for me but for others also. Why is that and not one survey company in particular you spend 10-15 minutes on it and it says you dont fit the survey etc.?
Alan: Please understand that we are completely independent of what surveys are given, or the qualifications for each survey.
brenda: From your site all we get i a hopeless entry in a drawing. I belong to alot of forums and people are getting fed up. You spend your time to get nothing. It use to pay to do surveys more and more it is like a waste of time.
brendamc: I understand that it if you could pass the word along. people arent even tasking the time to do the surveys anymore. They have better ways to spend their time.
brenda: If companies want an actual opinion they better change the way they do surveys.
brenda: hello
Alan: Cash Surveys FAQ
Alan: Please click on the above link to see the details
brenda: Reading that doesnt do any good. They all pretty much say the same thing. I was just hoping you would pass the info along to these companies.
Alan: Thank you for bringing this error to our attention. This error is being generated by our Cash Survey's third party website. We will inform them of this error, . We thank you for your patience and for being a valued member.
brenda: Thank you
brenda: Have a nice day

I'm sorry, but the survey providers don't pay you, the website you found the link on is because they're being paid way more than you are.

Off-Topic / Re: Oversharing an opinion
« on: August 28, 2012, 06:20:38 pm »Message ID: 595310
Do you know someone who likes to over share an opinion they have.  And I mean, every time it comes into conversation, they tell you the exact same thing in the exact same way.  I find it really frustrating.

My mom doesn't like how the singers nowadays with waver on notes.  So, every time a song comes on when they waver, she will sing completely off key, over wavering for about a minute longer then they do on the song, and then state how stupid it sounds.  The first few times it's alright cause the person is just sharing an opinion and there's nothing wrong with that.  After the 10th time in the same car ride, it makes me want to scream.

Anyone else deal with something like this.

Yes, primarily with xtian fundamentalists' faith-based 'opinions'.

Lol ^^ you didn't mention Republicans, especially Romney with his "normal guy" routine, like come on we all know how filthy, stinking rich you are, your wife once wore a $990 t-shirt on an interview for crying out loud.

Off-Topic / Re: 180 day limit at FusionCash.net
« on: August 28, 2012, 06:15:17 pm »Message ID: 595307
My expeience was that fusion cash took awa the money that was earned on the day that occurred 180 days ago.  For instance...today is August twenty seventh.  If I had money that I earned on February twenty seventh, that I hadn't cashed in yet, Fusion cash would take that money back.  I was going crazy becase I just used to do the point and clicks at two cents per day and couldn't figure out why my balance remained the same for thirty days straight.  I finally sent an e-mail to the help desk and they told me why.

And what exactly was that reason?
I noticed my profile says I've only posted 6 times but if you check my actual posts, there are wayyy more than 6 so I was wondering if it's somehow related...

I just started college as well, although I'm only 18 and not a parent. I'm a philosophy major, and I'm the only freshman with this major at a school with 60,000 students.
